I love this place for when I want my cake to be EXTRA special. I order two months in advance. I get the raspberry filling. The drive is 50 minutes but it is huge worth it for me. I email and pay with pay pal and I go pick my cake up on the day I choose.
We ordered this cake about a week prior to our event to feed about 45-50 people. It turned out so beautiful! The vanilla cake and buttercream frosting was so delicious and moist. The cake was a big hit for our party, thank you Cakes Plus! Will definitely be ordering more for future events.
My sons cake was perfect for a second year in a row. Exactly what he asked for and the volcano’s awesome candle was a crowd pleaser! Highly recommend this place! We will be lifelong customers for sure!
I needed a last minute cookie delivery in South Tampa. I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area and shipping cookies wasn't a good option for fear of breaking. I reached out to this bakery and they were able to fill my order quickly and provide delivery. My friend who I sent the cookies to said they were delicious and beautifully decorated. Thank you to Mario for his amazing customer service and quality of baked goods. I will definitely use them again and can't wait to stop by the bakery the next time I'm in Tampa.
I just want to say THANK YOU for making our gender reveal even more memorable!!We had a last minute order because our other baker was out sick and THANKFULLY CakesPlus was able to fit us into their schedule! We put in the order on Wednesday and the chef was able to bake a beautiful 4 tier cake for the coming Saturday , we weren’t too picky on design, we didn’t know the flavor either but it turned out to be wedding almond cake flavor, my absolute favorite and the icing was beautiful! It was a great surprise to cut into it and see we were having a boy!It was a last minute order but everything went smoothly and they were quick to respond to my emails and calls! It tasted amazing, on time, friendly & I will absolutely be ordering all of our special event cakes here from now on!We absolutely loved our gender reveal cake thank you again!
This place goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I came in less than 24 hours before needing my cake…I didn’t expect to be able to get a cake. They made it work. They were so polite and friendly. I couldn’t IMAGINE my cake would turn out this amazing. I simply gave them a theme and small picture of the character and they made artwork out of it for me. They really put in the extra time and detail to make my cake look beautiful. I am so happy, thank you so much for making my birthday more special.10/10 stars. Thank you!!

Cakes Plus made my wedding cake... just perfect! It exceeded my expectations. Delicious... 3 layers: key lime, guava, and almond. I highly recommend Cakes Plus.
Cake was inedible, cake was dry and crumbly, I could not serve the cake my guest, in my opinion this was the worst cake and customer experience. I tried giving management a chance to correct issue, but it would have not have been in my favor to waste my time returning this this old dry cake.Conversation with management.I understand, I do work and my next day off is Friday.I feel this is ridiculous that I have to make a special trip out there for you to inspect the Cake.If you or someone have to time to pick up this cake my zip code is 00000, you are more than welcome to pick up the cake. I will provide my address.I can also throw in the trash, please advise.ThanksI cannot come and did not anticipate having this issue with the cake I purchased.I bought this cake on Friday for my husband’s birthday on Saturday. This was supposed to be our main cake however the cake was not edible, the cake was dry and crumbly, I tried the cake and it was not like I expected and am accustomed too.I have been coming to your place of business for more than 10 years. I could not serve this cake to my guest. I had to serve another cake that my daughter has bought, this other cake was not even supposed to be served at the birthday.I am very disappointed.We are very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with cake. BEWARE dishonest people! I specifically went there for gold edible glitter. I was sold arts and craft glitter. The label clearly says NOT EDIBLE! I didn't notice it until I got home because they told me it was for cakes! I tried to return it but all sales are final! Well why would you even sell glitter at a cake store that is not edible? Very upset! I would never put glitter on food that is labeled clearly stating not edible! This little container was $6.99 and now I'm stuck with it because they lied and I believed them!
