Okay so i had never been here and ordered the brisket nachos. I requested the items i wanted on them clearly and let them know what i wanted excluded which was the pico, white bbq sauce, and sour cream. So i told them all i wanted was the brisket, chips, queso, and shredded cheese on the nachos. Now to start, the employees were all playing around talking and ignoring the customers in line. I finally got to order and told them what i wanted. About ten minutes later i return and the food was ready waiting to pick up so i stood there waiting for the girl who was organizing bbq sauce right at the counter to give me my food. Waited a few good minutes while she ignored the 3 customers waiting to pick up their food. Finally i asked if i could pick up my food. They handed me a basket of chips with unmelted shredded cheddar on top so i asked them what gives these are supposed to be brisket nachos. I told the manager then what i wanted and she said she was confused by the order so i know at some point it had come to her attention, perhaps even she made the “nachos”. She was still confused and asked how i wanted them made. I told her like nachos are with all the ingredients on top of the chips because their correction was to hand me a tray with all the ingredients on the side and just a plate of chips again. Finally they got it right…and i was not overly impressed by the food even. Its not that the staff were rude but they were clearly inattentive and i dont even know what this restaurant was thinking sending out a plate of some dusty chips with cold shredded cheddar on top. Smh…

The food is always really great and the cashiers are always so helpful when I don’t know what to get. The barbecue sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy and the onion rings are next level. The homemade ranch is also bangin’.

The was prepared to order and they give you the buzzing disc so you can move around the facility while waiting for your food. Very good.

I honestly don’t know where these bad reviews are coming from. I dealt with 3 employees (only cus I wanted to talk about the food) and I had great service. The food was phenomenal! Housemade pastrami and bbq sando? C’mon man ?

Not much BBQ at this place. Brisket and Pulled pork only. Fries are floppy and terrible. Pulled pork okay. We got a fried chicken sandwich that was a mess. Bottom bun was drenched. Flavor was okay. They’re trying to be new wave hipster, but the food is just not that great. Mac and cheese was the best thing we had.

First time at Armature Works and I chose this place. I Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it looked delicious but it tasted like lighter fluid. I did not think pork that was slow cooked for 14 hours would taste like lighter fluid. The fries were good. Was not impressed for the price of the food.

Good solid pulled pork. And the fires were absolutely wonderful. Will repeat. I look forward to trying the other types of meat.

My daughter and I went to the Heights Public Market on a Friday night. The market was packed and we were starving. We chose this restaurant because it had the shortest line…. hint hint!! I had the hamburger, over cooked and dry. It came with fries, which were cold. My daughter had the Mac n cheese bowl with chicken. This was also cold and almost inedible. The chicken looked like dog food and barely any cheese sauce. We will not be going back nor recommending this one place.

This review is only for the CORNBREAD. It was pretty good. The cornbread came out warm. It had a lovely crust on the outside and was soft from inside. The honey butter it came with was delicious. Can't say about other items on the menu but the cornbread is a must order!

Use to love the brisket nachos. I can't same the same. Went there and they were cold and the smallest amount of meat portion. Very disappointing
