My daughter and I stopped in for coffee. She got the Carmela cold brew, and it tasted awful. I got an iced caramel latte with almond milk and it was disgusting as well. It left an awful aftertaste and was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. We both ended up throwing them out even though they were so expensive. The taste was so bad it hurt my stomach.
I have a crush on the curly headed girl at the front but she would never date me. I always get plain black coffee and she makes it perfect everytime. If only she knew *sigh*
Buddy Brew has the best coffee, we love the Hyde Park location and I enjoyed my iced latte and my friend loved her cappuccino! Everyone is so friendly and we highly recommend you stop by and visit this coffee spot!! ☕️
The staff was excellent. Seemed like the barista who made my coffee enjoys their work because it was reflected in my cup. The coffee had the perfect tone, color and aroma. It was a great pick me up, because that’s what I needed. I’ll be coming here more often with my family. Plus, I’d pick this place over Starbucks and Dunkin’ any day!!

All of the food and coffee was delicious. They’re even dog friendly so you don’t have to leave your pup chained up outside when you go in for a coffee. The order ahead feature is great but could use a little better of a pick up situation.
Visiting from Tennessee and I was stoked on this spot. Great coffee! Americano was smooth and flavorful rather than the usual bitterness we find in Tennessee. Nitro cold brew with vanilla was also fab. GF options made it easy for a celiac to get a nibble also! Highly recommend. We even went back later that day for a matcha. Also, if the wifi doesn’t work - it has nothing to do with the coffee (!). ✌?
Gorgeous neighborhood adds to the appeal of this simple cafe. Good cortado as well as a couple of sparkling water options that caught my eye.
Was down visiting for 2 weeks, best coffee I could find in Hyde Park and surrounding area, often very busy but can take your drink and sit in the center circle near the fountain and enjoy Hyde Park.* Only ever ordered brewed coffee with milk *
If anyone is like me and enjoys a very hot cup of coffee then you might be disappointed. Even though I got hot steamed milk in my coffee it was still lukewarm.The flavor of the coffee itself was very good, which was their house blend, being a medium brew.
