Rachel was our bartender and she was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home! I had the Pinstripe Pilsner, which I loved, and I recommend strongly to lovers of Pilsner Urquell. My partner had the Peanut Butter Sammich, far outside of his comfort zone, and really enjoyed it- it has a very smooth PB aftertaste!
I'm so glad I ventured out of Downtown Tampa Sunday afternoon and had my first (and definitely not last) visit to Bootleggers. Tried a couple delicious stout/dark brews. Food menu looked great too... will eat next time.
Wow, this place was great. Huge selection of excellent beer, friendly employees, and amazing food. Hubs loved the NE IPA and the saison was one of the best I have tasted. We had the pastrami sandwich and chicken salad. Both were inspired. And the stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Will definitely be back soon.
Came here on a Thursday and had a great time. The beer is great and they even had a cooler with random beers from all over that turned out to be a great selection too. We didn’t realize they had food and were really surprised about the quality. Their kitchen was not an after thought and very intentional. Had the Hummus which came with pita and a bunch of peppers and other stuff and also had the flat bread which was really delicious. Kept it light to leave room for the beer, but many more options. Definitely going back to have a full meal next time and probably going to grab a bunch of beer to go.
Passing through the area and made a stop here. Beer was great, food was delicious but, most of all the staff were awesome! Learned a lot about the different brews and got to try several. Highly recommend!
We had our rehearsal dinner at Bootlegger’s Brewery. They have a really cute outdoor patio and they have a drink package that includes 2 drinks per person (wine, beer, soda) and a personal bartender. This was a convenient and affordable casual setting. There was some confusion with the drink tickets though. Everyone should have been given 2 tickets, but staff did not hand out tickets so one of my friends started handing out tickets. So my advice is to have someone greeting guests as they arrive and handing them their 2 tickets. Remind your guests that if they don’t want to use both tickets, give them to someone else because you’re paying for all those drinks whether the tickets get used or not! But really that was a small hiccup and I still think they deserve a 5 star review! It was also easy to cater outside food and Bootleggers staff set up tables and chafing trays for the food.
