I wanted gator bites, and I noticed it was on the menu. I decided to visit on a Sunday during brunch time, and they weren’t busy. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive. I got two drinks: one was a tequila old fashioned and the other was a fruity drink (can’t remember the name). The gator bites were surprisingly good! They were flavorful and the sauce added to the flavor. I’d definitely visit again!
A friend and I were in Ybor on a whim and needed a brunch spot that served unlimited mimosas and I feel we struck gold. The food was good and we left drunk. Got the best out of what we needed. Would love to come back for brunch again that’s for sure!
We been here before over the years. Alway great live music, good drinks - but today I stopped in for the brunch and it was very underwhelming. Nothing cajun about it and small portion, which was good so I didn't have a soar belly as long. Big minus that the whole plate was cold & I generally don't send things back to the kitchen so I sucked it up cuz I was starving.Had I known I'd have stopped at Denny's.But it is a lively place.
The first time there loved the vibe, environment, and music. My friend and I played Connect 4 while drinking and had a blast. We also enjoyed some oysters I was hesitant because it's a bar type setting but I took a chance and they did not disappoint. They were delicious and with the appropriate garish ?. Definitely going back. Thanks for a fun Thirsty Thursday. FYI they do have drink specials but missed the time frame?.
Cool personable staff, amazing food, and great drinks! While on vacation wondering around Ybor City we came upon Big Easy. The frozen drink machines caught our eye but the shrimp grits, Po boy sandwich, and crab rangoon chip and dip completely took us by surprise...OMG so delicious! ? Vowed to return. Sadly they told me us this is the only location, definitely the kind of hip and friendly environment with pool tables plus good music that should be shared with more cities. You guys are on to something, so consider Detroit next!!
Live music, great drinks, tasty food, and awesome people. The menu surprised me. It's a lot more than pub fare. They had the best bloody Mary I've ever had. The live music was incredible.
Cool vibe at this local gem; taps include ace cider, shock top, and purple haze. We sampled the Gadget sour - tasty! Live music during peak hours; appetizers and more for the hungry drinkers. We spotted a bottle of Yamzaki 18 behind the bar .. wow!
Fun place to go in Ybor. Casual atmosphere. Good Cajun food and tasty Bloody Marys. Friendly service.
Went for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and all we could talk about was being mad for not going sooner! Wish I remembered bar staff name because I loved them! They said hi and bye to everyone that walked in/out and I really appreciate that! It’s the little things. Drinks stayed full and food tasted great! Can’t wait to go back
Chicken sandwich was nice and big. Juicy and full of flavor. Cajun fries was really good too. Definitely would come back.
