Since moving from Chicago to Tampa 3 years ago I’ve been longing for good Thai food, but because of my past experiences with the food here in Tampa my expectations were pretty low to be honest...until today! And wow! Benjarong Thai did not disappoint. I mean, everything I ordered- from the pineapple fried rice, chicken in coconut broth, to the yummy veggie egg rolls, it ALL exceeded my expectations. Not to mention, their prices were VERY reasonable...and best part? I have leftovers! Yep, will definitely be baaack! : )
I was expecting a lot more from this place. The reviews were great but the food was not was I was expecting, the Pad See Ew had cabbage and carrots? this are not even announced on the menu and the amount of cabbage was gross, really turned the flavor down. The Thai Basil was barely ok, only the fried rice was good, not sure we will give it another shot
So glad I tried this place will definitely be back!!! I love Thai rice and this place has the best, asked for extra egg and they actually gave me a ton of egg which I loved, food was hot and fresh, lots of vegetables was very satisfied!!!!
So this is the third time I came back but this time I ordered to go just for the rice, I ordered 6 portion of rice and u don’t even get what you normally get when you dine in! For $12 this is what u get!!!This is the last time we’ll ever come to this place.And the waitress today is not as friendly as Jojo.When I came back to double check, she went in and never came out. Oh well just my luck lol.
Great atmosphere. Great value. Delicious Amazing Chicken. The best sticky rice! They did not charge for additional rice when we asked for more!
Food is soooooo good and amazing and tasty. Beautiful design all over the place. I fully recommend this place to everyone.
I don’t know if it was a fluke since there are amazing reviews for this place but I picked up chicken pad thai and I’m in shock at how little flavor it had. I almost feel like it was a mistake like they forgot the seasoning or something? It tasted like…nothing. Zero flavor. There was barely any chicken either. Was a disappointment unfortunately!

Best authentic Thai in the area! Awesome environment. Friendly staff. And delicious dishes. I can actually get the high spice level I enjoy. Also one of the few places I know that can cater to the larb lovers like me! Just go!
The food and service here are excellent. We came on Saturday for lunch and were literally the only patrons in the restaurant until we were getting ready to leave when another family walked in. I'm not sure what it's like during the week, but I was surprised to see it so empty with the food being so good. I had the chicken pad Thai and my wife had chicken fried rice. The spring rolls and soup were also good. The food was hot and flavorful.
