INCREDIBLE! Truly the freshest food I've ever had ... Wood-fired pizza: AMAZING! Clearly this was a labor of love and wow! One of the best things I've ever tasted (and I don't even like pizza). Ravioli fromage WOW ! Served in a STUNNING vodka sauce which was delish, and made with FRESH pasta. One of the best things I've ever eaten. Heirloom bruschetta This was okay. Very fresh, the bread was delish ... could've used a hint of sea salt and something else for bolder flavor, like a balsamic glaze, perhaps. Cannoli One of the best I've ever had. Perfectly smooth and clearly stuffed fresh. Will absolutely go back and/or visit their other locations. The service was also top-notch.
Nice little cozy restaurant with a lot of flavor on their food and a great customer service. We tried for our first time, love it. We moved to FL not to long ago and this is the second place that we can say, we love the pizza ? ? and their pizza sauce.
Went for a stroll along Tampa Riverwalk, and stepped by to find a lunch spot, and found this gorgeous place. Very nicely done out, and we had the lunch-sized pizza and pasta for lunch, and all thought it was gorgeous, with friendly staff too.
We really enjoyed dinner at Bavaro's. Started with oysters from the wood oven - recommend these! Prosciutto was a thicker cut, still good - but I prefer the paper thin slices. Pizza and pasta were great, love authentic wood fired Italian pizza. Note, pizza fungi - the mushrooms are sauteed - very good, but different. The homemade tagliatelle with shrimp added was excellent. All the staff were a pleasure.
Good Italian food! Definitely try to make a reservation ahead, since it gets busy. The Google app made it easy to schedule and choose a time. The staff was friendly and attentive as well! We had the margarita pizza and the spaghetti; the pizza was fluffy and tasty with a little bit of char that you can really taste that it’s the wood fired and the spaghetti was a large portion with good flavor.
Delicious! We tried the ricotta meatballs, Ravioli al Formaggio and Rigatoni al Funghi.WOW! It’s on our top italian restaurants EVER!Staff is very friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat oudoors because there was nice weather
Me and a few friends came here for dinner while on spring break and was served moldy cheese. After bringing this to the waiters attention, who never came and checked on us after we were severed our food, he proceeded to tell us it was parsley. He told me to dump it out and see for my self so i did and it was in fact mold. This was brought the the managers attention and he has told us to “calm down”. Not only did we eat moldy cheese we were kicked out of our table before paying. We were only seated for 45 minutes. We will not be coming her ever again after this terrible experience and only getting 5 dollars off our bill.
Amazing Italian restaurant with authentic food. Everything was homemade and delicious. The waitress was so friendly and gave great recommendations. We will be back next time we are in the area.
We had a great experience at Bavaro. My sister lives in Tampa and she brought us to Bavaro. They were busy. But we had a reservation and we're seated promptly. Aisha brought water and said our server, Kendall would be over shortly. Kendall was quite busy, so Aisha stepped in to take our order. Between the two, food was ordered promptly and brought to our table piping hot! We had the penne vodka, tagliatelle with bologna and two pizzas. The penne vodka was the best I've had. It was amazing, so good in fact that I bought a quart to take home. The pizza was delicious, as was the bolognese! I only wish I had not been to full to try dessert! We were very impressed with Aisha. She is the new GM and really lead by example. When she saw Kendall needed a hand, she jumped in! Way to go Bavaro! Will will be back!
We stopped in here before heading to the airport for our flight back to Baltimore. This place surprised us! Great good, good atmosphere and staff were great. Pizza is yummie!!
