I haven’t had a chance to dine in yet, but I recently ordered to go food for dinner and it was excellent. I had a burger and fries and they were tasty! The only issue is I was a little confused on where to go when I went inside to pick up my order and there was nobody at the front to direct me. I think some signage for “To Go Pickups” would be helpful. Other than that, I look forward to coming back!
My experience at this restaurant was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My brother, 2 friends and I went here for dinner and drinks. The drinks were good, but the food I can’t say. After waiting for 1 hour I asked my waitress what the status was on our food and she said it would be out soon. An hour later, we noticed other people who arrived at the restaurant way after we did receive there food first. So I stood up and after 2 hours of waiting, we asked again for our food. At this point, we got yelled at to leave the restaurant. We felt humiliated in front of everyone because all we were asking for was the food the was “supposedly” on its way. My question to the restaurant is, if you’re not going to give good service to customers and treat them like that, what is the point of being a waitress? If you’re having a bad day, that doesn’t mean you get pass down your negative energy and embarrass customers who are consuming at your restaurant.
We kind of anticipated that this would be basic bar food and it was anything but. We loved all of our different dishes, the kids meals were amazing and the atmosphere was laid back. We had a party of 9 and our server Lou was exceptional. The people working here went above and beyond to make our party feel comfortable and welcome. We plan to return for sure!
Great beer and drinks selection. Friendly and attentive staff. Only give it three stars for the food. Ordered chicken quesadilla and barely any chicken in it. Salad was a child’s size portion. No vegetarian options on the menu. Bar food doesn’t always have to be unhealthy.
The worst service I have ever had in my life. I came for my friends birthday for bottomless mimosas and the black bartender and the short haired girl manager were the rudest people I have ever encountered in a restaurant. They called us names and tried I cut us off of bottomless mimosas for absolutely nothing. The worst experience I have ever had a restaurant. I 1000000% do not recommend coming here. The bottomless mimosas were slow, the food was cold and bad, the mimosas weren’t even good. I only managed to get 5 mimosas in 2.5 hours of being there. Absolute joke of a staff and restaurant. Clear staff and maybe you’re business will be presentable. Absolute disgrace to the restaurant community. The picture was the rude bartender.
Update: So I decided to give Bar Louie a try again since they messed up my order the first time through the mobile app. This time I went to the restaurant and placed a to go order and waited. Yet again the kitchen managed to mess up my order again by not making it the way the menu advertised it. I waited to speak with the manager Dalton (again). The first time he apologized for the incorrect information the manager on duty provided me and for the kitchen messing up my order. He told me that I would be getting a refund. It's been iver 2 weeks and I still haven't been refunded. I waited 30 minutes to speak with him and when he came from the back, he was chatting with the employees instead of coming directly to the customer to take care of their concerns. When he finally came to me, I asked him about the refund and he stated he wasn't sure why I haven't been refunded yet and spoke to the person above him and was told they would into getting me gift cards. Why would I be given gift cards when I was told I would receive a refund to the card I paid with?? Then I told him the kitchen messed up my order again and showed him, he really didn't seemed to concerned. He didn't offer to correct it, he didn't offer anything for the inconvenience for waiting 30 minutes, nor did he ask if there is anything he can do. Poor customer service and service in general. FYI whenever you make a to go order, make sure to check it before you leave because the kitchen will make it their way instead of what the menu shows and management doesn't care to make it right.2 weeks ago- Bar Louie messed up my mobile order. I called to soeak with the manager. She didn't apologize for the kitchen error for messing up my order. She didn't offer to remake my order or to refund it. She told me that since I paid through a third party app when I ordered through the BAR LOUIE APP, I would have to contact the 3rd party in order for original order to be remade or refunded. This is the worst experience I've had with Bar Louie. I don't even live in Tampa and drove to get 2 of those salads because they are delicious and wanted to have them fo dinner. After this experience, I probably won't visit again because of how they treat their customers when it comes to them not willing to correct their kitchen's error of not creating the order exactly how it is placed and not giving their customers what is stated on their menu.
Tasteless burger with a soggy roll due to their "secret sauce" layered underneath the greasy burger. Tasteless cheese, so slimy, it could not hold on to the toppings. Fries hard, maybe fried twice because they were sitting there from last nite. Salad had an odd gritty texture, dirt? Server could have been nicer, not snobby?
First time here wver. We walked in for an afternoon pick me up on a chilly rainy Sunday. We ordered an Irish Coffee that took 10 minutes to make. And it was cold. No whipped cream garnish, just whiskey, Baileys, and cold coffee. When we said they were cold, the bartender said she had to make fresh coffee. Like why would you make them in the first place with cold coffee. We waited another 10 minutes and cancelled the order. Does no one ever strive to do a good job anymore? Completely lackluster experience in Tampa.
