Let’s start with the prices. Way too high. I know prices went up but $8 for a breakfast sandwich and $6 for a cream cheese bagel. Wow! Maybe if you lessened your bacon and eggs potions, would help profit and the mess of the sandwich as eggs. The bacon was cold. The bagels are just ok. Friendly service though.
Bagels Plus has the BEST bagels in Tampa! When I moved to Florida from up north, I had no idea how hard it was going to be to find a decent bagel! I was about to give up my search when I discovered Bagels Plus!The bagels are amazing with a slight crunch to the outside and a delicious soft and chewy inside...PERFECT! Bagels Plus has an impressive variety of bagels and cream cheeses (I highly recommend the olive cream cheese) as well as several kinds of sandwiches. Once you try this place, I doubt you'll go anywhere else for a fantastic bagel! I certainly don't!
So disappointing, I walked in to get some bagels and cream cheese to go...I come here at least once a month. Anyways walk in and the guy in on the floor and is trying to mess with a floor tile. He fixes it and goes behind the counter to get our order. He did not wash his hands and proceeds to pack our order. So gross. I couldn't believe it. Then he rang us out. If this is the behavior in front of a customer then I can only imagine. Shame the bagels are good.
I love these bagels. They’re the perfect level of chewiness. I first had them at a work function and had to find out where they came from. Since then, I’ve been back many times. My favorite item is their smoked salmon bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, and best of all capers. Yummm. Service is quick despite long lines. If ordering more than one sandwich, do place them all at once to speed things up.
Went for a breakfast bagel and instead got a speech on why the girl behind the counter doesn’t wanna be there, clearly she carries over her thoughts while she’s making your bagel. The first bite of the bagel delicious, then I am met with soggy eggs and bacon blacker than coal. Definitely will not be going back. And if you need to complain about making bagels you need to get out in the real world cause I could care less, I just want my food. The bagels are great, fantastic even but the quality of the sandwich is up to the maker that doesn’t want to be there?♂️
One of the better places in the Tampa Bay area. My plain bagel was a little hard but the wife's sesame bagel was soft. I prefer soft bagels so I'd go here again to see if it was just an off day for the plain bagels.
Great bagel spot by USF. No frills, no complicated system. A bit pricy, but salmon bagel was overfilled with salmon and spread. Staff was really friendly and kind - I have no voice this week, and the staff member went out of her way to make sure I got what I was trying to order. Def recommend for a quick breakfast.
Being from NYC, this is the most authentic New York style bagel in the Tampa Bay area! For a while I was fed up with the food in this city so I drove on by figuring there was no way its going to be good, but it turns out it's the best there is.
I make loxs and bagel for myself at least 3 times a week, I never eat it when I go out because most places to give you barely give you enough to cover the bread. Not this place this is only 1/2 the other half was the same size with the same amount of meamount of meat. This place gives you good value for your money.
I grew up in NY and I miss a good bagel. I've tried a few bagel shops and this is the best I've found near me so far. The bagels were fresh and the employees were friendly.
