Seen nasty look after I purchase at the corner of my eye. Other black people you know what I'm talking about. Definitely not coming back there. Plus the cake was not all that.
Over price, and it doesn’t taste good anymore. They always forget to give you something that you did pay for or the things that you bought are expired. Everthing taste old and expired as well. They don’t care anymore about value of there products.
Order a cake for my sons first birthday. I ordered it 3 weeks ahead of time. Week before I called to confirm that the cake would be ready to the agreed upon time. 9 am. They said no, 2 PM. I'm like I specifically asked for 9 because it's a kids birthday and we need it early. Since this is a Dominican Cake place. I specifically asked that it would be made with suspiro. They called me the day of and say that no. They can't have it done with suspiro it has to be made with whip cream or butter. I specifically asked that it was made like in the Dominican Republic. They made with whip. Absolutely not the same type of cake at all. We get it home and the food coloring is stuck to your fingers the minute you touched it. We carve the cake and it tastes like an old two week old cake. An absolute disaster. I'm sure i would have done a better job watching a YouTube video and making the cake myself. Stay away from here and go somewhere else.
We live in Bradenton and this bakery is almost an hr away. My husband was looking for authentic dominican cake for my birthday cake. He called in last minute and spoke with the baker himself to custom design my 30th cake. (Cake was a surprise but I am reviewing after finding out where he got it.) Dulce de leche was great. Frosting was sweet but not too sweet. Will place future custom cakes with them.
I have ordered from Door Dash and have been here in person a d they have the BEST desserts and sandwiches. I can tell you that if you love sweets and dark chocolate cup cakes you have to come here. You will also love the caring and sweet owners and staff. Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. You will love it!
I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering the dry tasteless cake from this bakery. I was embarrassed to give this out at my gathering. On top of it all, it was a super expensive.My 5 yr old would of done a better job with a small packet of cake mix and an easy bake oven. The Sahara desert still has more moister than the cake I bought here. Any other place is better than here. Don't waste your money go to Walmart they probably have better cakes there

The worst cake ever. The cake very very dry & the filling wich i ordered dulce leche it was from the store hard & dry. The frosting was horrible as well. I ordered picadera.......HORRIBLE NERVER AGAIN. They're not good at decorating cake. They just dont care. They have cake out with no frosting & dry. They used be good but not no more. My husband & kiddos already warmed me not go back ever again, thats how bad it was.
Great service and staff. They try to speed up orders even when last minute. Amazing little shop. Love they have so many varieties.
Greeted me as walk thru door that right there told me they cared about customers... dessert I chose was great
