My friends and I chose Alma amongst the many options at the mall and have been dissatisfied with our experience. The “queso and salsa” is just a bowl of hot salsa with half melted mozzarella cheese mixed in. Their “fresh” guacamole looks like, and tastes like, puréed baby food with pico on top. The entrees weren’t great but were edible. On top of all that, the service was slow.With how many options are available in the area, I wouldn’t choose this again. It was overpriced and underwhelming.
Been here twice and enjoyed myself both times. It is the spot on Monday Nights.
Nice Place to enjoy some appetizers and eat something!!!! Service was Great (Sebas was our server)!! Good recommendations and knowledgeable of menu items. BUT if you are not a smoker or don’t like this odor while eating then this is NOT an option for you, as happened to us. Today started raining, heavy rain and lightning, blinds came down to protect customer from rain, and it was worst!! to have people smoking in what was converted the area, basically a close salon. This should be a No Smoke Area, if not ready to have an area for smokers!!!!

We absolutely LOVE Alma! The atmosphere is awesome…the food is good and the servers are attentive. The Alma Rosa drink and Crab dip is delicious? They also have Insta worthy photo ops!!
My wife, son and I really enjoyed Brunch today. It was our first time here. Music and decor were fun and lively. They have a great menu selection and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was prompt and the service was on excellent. We highly recommend Alma!
Seriously awesome food and service! The previous reviews made me nervous, but the meal was wonderful. Maureen, our excellent server, told us they had been making a great effort to improve. It is certainly paying off! We had the yellow rice & beans with carne asada and the Peruvian ceviche. Oh my goodness… I cleared my plate before I even thought to take a picture, but we managed to capture the delicious ceviche. The patio overlooking the plaza is very nice, and the music and atmosphere is very fun and lively. Had a great experience and will certainly be back!
Excellent espresso martini. We sat at the bar and had drinks and fresh guacamole. It was a fun place. Get the espresso martini!
What an amazing atmosphere! Jacob (our server) didn’t question our desire to “taste a Rainbow” while we were in Tampa and even helped us pick out drinks to accomplish the feat! Louis (our bartender) was even more into helping us by mixing shots the perfect shade❤️ AND were D-E-L-icious. Thank you gentlemen !!!! The SEC Tournament was a lot more fun because you helped us get it started ?
I got salmon salad. The salmon was dry and way over seasons thanks super salty. And for I think $16 it was a very small salad. My husband got the skirt steak seasons and cooked fine but another small plate for $30. Also got the sangria way too much cinnamon. I gave it to stars because the service was really good the waitress was extremely nice and I'm thinking the owner check to make sure everything was good before we left
