Best BBQ I've had in a long time!!! Everything was amazing!
Came to Ybor for some cigars and smelled the meat smoker. We followed our noses and found Al's! i ordered a meal of delicious Pulled pork, spicy collards and a side of chicken and rice at a reasonable price served by friendly family. All were very good!! We will come for the BBQ again and then grab cigars. Place is legit, but come early, as the beef was already sold out after lunch. Mac and cheese is available Fridays only. Will make another trip for that!!
The best fall off the bone ribs, pulled pork, collard greens, baked beans, and Mac n cheese we’ve had anywhere! Will tell anyone who will listen they need to go taste for themselves! See you again soon!!
Went for a lunch after a walk through the Ybor neighborhood. Paid parking lot next to it makes parking an non issue. Meat is very tender and reasonably priced with very friendly staff. Makes you feel like a member of their local family and place continued to be busy for our snack before a flight out. Nothing fancy but great food.
The bbq chicken is good, rice can be improved. Over all not bad if you are in Ybor & like to support a local business
I was glad we selected this BBQ place to eat our evening meal. It's located inside an old house but the atmosphere is down home and unpretentious. Ribs are their specialty. They are smoked to perfection. Nice char on the outside. Tender on the inside. The coleslaw and baked beans were very good also. Friendly staff. Quick service. Only seats about 40 but was not crowded on an early Friday evening. Seems to be a favorite with locals.
Excellent smokey flavor. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. The chopped brisket was very tasty as well. Don't let the outside fool you. It is clean and neat inside. People were very friendly
Was in town with the wife and wanted good BBQ so saw reviews and decided to stop by. Best decision. No disrespect but I always look at the chefs size and clothes and my man didn't disappoint. Look like he spent all morning wrestling with the grill so I knew the food was gonna be good????
This is my favorite bbq place! I travel over an hour for this finger lickin good deliciousness. Over the years I’ve brought dozens of friends and family here and everyone agrees its the BEST! Thanks Al and family, y’all never disappoint!
Ribs and sausage are both very good. The mild sauce was excellent. Friendly staff.
