I ordered peach smoothie with boba, one underage inexperienced girl was working, there were few customers came in after I have ordered. She was taking orders from other customers came in any took so long to take their orders. I was waiting 25 minutes then I took my money back and left. Will never go there again.
I was trying to find a place near Wesley Chapel that would satisfy my boba smoothie craving! It was a close tie between pholicious and 35 Below. Smoothies appeared to cost less at pholicious, but their photos I found online didn’t appear as appetizing.. so we settled on giving 35 Below a shot.While I appreciated that the young girl behind the counter was masked, the person who appeared to be the owner/manager was not. Luckily the young girl was the main person I primarily interacted with and the person that handled making our smoothies.At first I thought we were given teas instead of smoothies, but that was just my assumption. I didn’t mention anything because my husband had already retrieved the drinks prior to me finishing up in the restroom. When we got to the car, I looked up their menu details and looked at other postings/photos and discovered we did get the correct item! My mistake!While I expected a thicker consistency and a bright purple color for our taro smoothies (the ones I’ve been accustomed to getting by almost every other boba shop in the past), our drinks were more liquid-based and a lighter gray color. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted 35 Below’s smoothie. I could taste the actual taro vegetable! Sweetness was also perfect. Although it didn’t satisfy my craving because it lacked the thick consistency and temp I was used to of taro smoothies being blended with a ton of ice and a thickener, it was still really good.The color was different than what I was used to getting (used to bright purple vs a light gray color)- it’s because they probably omit artificial flavored powders in their smoothies which I really appreciated!Overall service was great, the young girl was kind and really fast at making our orders. We also appreciated that she was masked. Total before tip was $14 and some change for two taro boba smoothies with black tapioca pearls.I am docking one star for the lack of complete cleanliness of their restroom. I was grateful they had a public restroom available for use, but I wish it would have been just been cleaner and better maintained.
Too bad I didn’t take any pictures but I ordered 3 milk boba teas and they were all delicious!!! Fast and great service. Didn’t catch the girls name who did my order but she was awesome!!! Excellent customer service!!!
Sweetest staff!! The tall woman who makes the ice cream is the best person in the world!! They make the best ice cream around town :)
I visited first time with my kids. Then ordered bobatea and ice cream. Boba tea was good to sweetie but ice cream wasn't good taste. It was like non tasted ice cream with sugar toppings.
Desperately short-staffed...and the new staff clearly needed more time...but good product!!Came back for a 2nd time & they were fully-staffed, playing great music, and the product was awesome as always!! So today I'm happy to change my review from 3 stars to 5 stars!! We had a GREAT experience at 35 Below today!!!!
We were craving for Thai Tea and we searched for the nearby places. We decided to try 35 Below for Thai tea. It is a small café type restaurant. We saw their menu so with Thai Tea we also ordered Hand Crafted Ice Cream. We got our Thai Tea very quickly and it was yum and delicious. We loved its taste. We also got our hand crafted ice cream in 10 minutes. It was amazing and we loves our experience. We will definitely come back.
Unfortunately the atmosphere of this location was a little weak. There wasn't a very pleasant smell and they were out of stock of a number of toppings we wanted in addition to being out of vegan ice cream. The most disappointing part was that my wife's mango smoothie was way too sweet for her, but they were not willing to remake it or make something else without charging us. While it is fair for an establishment to decide to do that, it's unfortunate that they weren't willing to go the extra mile to take care of the customer to ensure they will come back in the future. That being said, we do not plan on revisiting.
Omg. This Boba Coconut milk smoothie is the best... And the handcrafted ? ice cream 5 thumbs up.
The boba was pretty decent here but I think the pricing is a little bit on the high end where they charge you extra for the bubbles and does not include it on the menu price.
