The WORST possible service around. Half the menu is unavailable. You find this out after waiting 20 minutes in line after starting to place your order. Employee starts taking my order and then asks me to hold so that he could ask colleague for help with properly ringing it up. Comes back 20 minutes later and says "Oh, I thought I did your order". I try to finish my order to be put on hold again and told they do not have what I initially asked for!!!! Who is running this place!?!? I was at the microphone to order for over 20 minutes!!! Mediocre food at worse service. Zero ?
Service was so horrible! Went through the drive through and the cashier and person that took the order had a very bad attitude! They definitely need training on customer service!! You can't even ask for sauce without getting an attitude! On top of that they didn't even bother giving me any sauce when I asked for it! I don't recommend this place to anyone!!
Taleithya and Martin the manager was exceptional. They held their composure that night when there was a long line waiting on chicken. Their customer service was through the roof. It is great to have workers that go above and beyond for their customers. Good job Taleithya.
Avoid this location at all costs. Out of all my visits since December they haven’t had sauces available. Truly sad that people can be ok with running their restaurant like this. People come to pollo tropical specifically for the sauces they offer. You can get grilled chicken and rice almost anywhere else. Make the experience unique for people, for Gods sake. Avoid this horrible location at all costs, you’ll be doing yourself a favor. Oh and I’ve never encountered one normal employee here, all of them seem to be the most ghetto prospects from the worst hoods in south Florida .
This Pollo Tropical is the fastest serving Pollo I’ve ever been to. The customer service was great from the young man taking my order and from the young lady who brought the food to me . This is going to be my spot ! Awesome !
The food is good for the price but the people who handle the drive through are 9x out of 10 unpleasant. They barely extend a greeting if they do at all and its very clear they want you out of the line as soon as possible. Its as if they need extensive customer service training just to meet the bare minimum standard. When I'm having a bad day and don't feel like cooking I purposely drive further up to go to Chick fil a which has an even longer wait but their pleasantries are worth it.
The 3 star rating is because of the wait. The food is good and consistent. But, the wait! It took 45mins for the drive thru. The line did not move and you would occasionally see people leave from inside with their food. I get that it can be busy especially at peak meal times. However, this happens every time I have gone to this location. The quickest trip was almost 30mins. 30mins for fast food drive thru. Food was good and once I was able to order I received my food fairly quickly.
To say that we have tried with this Pollo Tropical location is an understatement. I have literally gone during different hours of the day, ordered via drive-through and take-out, dined in, ordered online and picked up, and my goodness, nothing helps.The wait time no matter how or where you order is absolutely ridiculous. The food never tastes fresh. The employees consistently forget items from your order. We are constantly being told that they don't have chicken or sauce or other side items. It is seriously a disappointment every single time we go here to this specific location.The employees generally have a good attitude, with the occasional impatient or annoyed employee, which is understandable. But the quality and availability of the food is low. Perhaps management needs to take a deep dive on why this keeps happening at this specific location.If you can, go to another Pollo. The one in Coral Springs on Atlantic and University is generally better than this one.
There is no reason why this place is always so slow. I never leave reviews but I had to this time. Every other pollo I go to is pretty quick with the drive thru. If you go to this location I hope you’re not in a rush. Be prepared to wait 30 min for your order, and that’s on a regular day.
Terrible service. Took 20 minutes to order then once I got my order everything was wrong. My daughters order was a Tropichop with white rice, chicken, onions, and corn...they didn't her corn and onions but added beans. She hates beans and couldn't eat her meal. I ordered the avocado salad and they gave me an avocado Tropichop. Never coming here again.
