I don't write posts very often but had to after visiting this weekend. We had ackee and saltfish, calaloo and saltfish with fried dumplings and ground provisions and a couple beef patties for the kids and we had no complains. Everything was cooked very well. Normally we would wake up the next morning with stomach issues because of too much oil but we never did. Big up to the chef. See you on our next visit.

This place has THE BEST curry goat! I had it catered for an event and everyone loved it. Buttter Flakes you outdid yourselves ??

Waste of money. Disappointing foodPLEASE GO A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN TO *****DUTCH POT*****There’s a few places where you can get Jamaican food closest to home taste. So you can’t be too picky. But pupa Jesus please come and deliver this chef.Curry goat - full a peppa, you can’t eat it and enjoy it . This is clearly a personal pot and not for the public, don’t feed your kids here there poor tongues will need holy water to cool.Meat Portions is ridiculously small. Those ppl in the back who serve stingy stingy like it’s free food distribution and they stretching it for the whole neighborhood. Ppl paid money for this 8.99 to be exact , I order two plates just to see if maybe one day would be better than the other. Nope same foolishnessOne of these days I order lunch and still had to go back and order a cup of soup .. what was I thinkin, ? Maybe because it’s the closest restaurant near by … Oh lord - chunky peas water with salt . Don’t do it. Truly disappointedI may be only one customer but no one from my office will ever eat here againYES WE ALSO KNOW YOU GUYS DONT CARE.

Dont waste your money! Curry goat is hard to chew and they sell you 3 day old or more Jerk chicken! I am done with this so call restaurant?

They food is good enough to eat..their jerk chicken is on point, however their goat is so spicey and hard. Its like they cooked it for themself and not for the public. Also their customer service is so lacking, it's like they saying that we need them and that they don't need us!! our business, and our business, as the customersis what keeping them a float. The owner of this business, if you want to continue your business, you really need to get employees who are going to provide great customer service to the public, because that's really an important factor that your restaurant is really missing and stop making the goat so spicy, it takes away from the flavor, that I could barely taste!

The food is okay here, however I would leave zero stars if I could. Never really understood the point of someone working in the service industry if they're going to lack the customer service skillset. Both women (cashier/server) inside and outside of this establishment has a Horrible attitude when serving Customers. The owner rather condone this behavior instead of using this as a way to improve their services. Please be aware, come here if you're looking for bad attitudes. I hope this message is used to create an opportunity to make things better.

Half the time I visited this place they do not have half the items listed on the menu. And the staff could be more friendly in terms of their delivery of staying they are out. A suggestion use the electronic menu board to say items are out of stock for the day

As I am reading through the reviews online, I can honestly say that I am shocked, because I have shopped here (only on the outside) on several occasions and have referred a lot of friends and family. While they have been on the inside, I have never been and now a good amount of them (23) to be exact have indicated to me that they will no longer support this business and I feel very bad because I am the one who referred them. Including my cousin who drove 3 hours just to come and try out the food and the business establishment, but instead of obtaining food from the truck outside they went inside with their family. While the food is good, they do not mind paying the price for the food, their reason for discontinuing support of this business is because of the poor customer service approach and lack of customer centricity. In further review I see that several customers have mentioned the poor customer service approach, which indicates a need to foster a customer-oriented environment as customers are the main support of any business, especially this type of business. There is one review with a manager's response that really stood out to me and this is extremely sad that the manager missed an opportunity in identifying the true complaint and acknowledging it. The complaint and response is as follows: Complainant: T Rudd - While we were here to pick up food that so many rave about, the service from the young lady behind the counter was not very friendly AT ALL. Manager's Response: Social distancing if that’s rude we are sorry if you take it personally. Now, please tell me, this is a paying customer, who paid not just for the food but for a service and they are expressing their concern specifically as it relates to the customer service NOT being FRIENDLY - What does this have to do with Social Distancing. This is by far the most unintelligent and illogical insensible response I have ever seen in my entire life. This is sad. There seems to be an issue with customer service in your business - So Fix it! I have over 16 more people who still support your business and I do not mind extending and spreading the word to continue supporting your business but I refuse to do that if the customer service approach is not remedied. If you are attracting the business one way or another and most of the business that your entity attracts is via word of mouth and social media then you need to create a best in class experience for your paying patrons!

On 1/17/22. I took my son to Butter Flake to order a jerk chicken without veggie meal. However, they still put veggie in the meal! I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the cashier "Andrea" and adviser her of this and also that they did not give him any jerk sauce!! for the meal. Right away, her tone and demeanor changed, she said I'm the one who served him and he did Not asked for no veggie and that I can believe him if I want because he's my son! and for the sauce, she did not have any sauce and thats y she did not give him any. When i asked her did you let him know this, her answer was no. I told her this the 2nd time they messing up my order and i wil not be coming back there. She say you dont have to!!! and and she don't care and disconnected the call. I called back to speak with a sup. and spoke with a Jay, who claim he is the sup. But right away, he was very non chalant about the situation. Being a Jamaican myself, its a cultural thing for us to be tough in all situations, and believe that customer service is not important. In a case like this all "Andrea" had to do was to apologize for the situation and verify what can be done to address my call, instead of telling me that she don't give a damm!!! You guys need to have better customer service. Every customer bring business to your place, and without us, there wouldn't be a you as a business!. I plan to sperad my experience to every social media as I possible can, my business count and I take customer service very serious!!! Your food may taste good!! But you customer service make it taste horrible ?!!!
