The food was excellent the gumbo is that outstanding the oven baked oysters are so wonderful and salad and one thing the St George salad was to die for the shrimp I mean the fried shrimp just melted in your mouth I will suggest anybody go here a wonderful place to eat

There is no better food, service or meeting place with friends or family, that meets or beats, The Wharf Seafood Restaurant at Bannerman! Just celebrated my birthday with friends and family and was blown away, as usual, with the food and service. The Wharf’s manager, Steven, is bigger than life! His culinary skills are impeccable! The Waite staff is headed up by Beverly, who is a staple at the restaurant. She is the hardest working, cheerful and willing to accommodate lady you will ever meet! Great food, great staff…….!
CONSISTENTLY Wharf Express always has the best and freshest seafood! Service is always excellent, especially Beverly, the menu has a wide variety of choices including the best St. George Island Salad. Their bacon wrapped shrimp is delicious and their hush puppies are THE best I’ve ever had anywhere! Their Wharf Sauce is better than cocktail too! I hope this restaurant never changes locations or closes!
My husband and I have been enjoying awesome food from The Wharf for over 25 years and I totally expect to continue to do so for years to come. We had the Bannerman Wharf cater a family birthday celebration and recently used them again for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner (with their food truck). It was great! The staff are very accommodating and all have excellent customer service (shout out to Bev and Stephen!). If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would.
I have been here so many times that I have had everything on the menu. Today though, was the final item, the Fish Sandwich with fries. Let me tell you, the fish covered the bun and then some and was cooked absolutely perfect. Everything was delicious and the staff are wonderful. This location is a must try if you haven't.
We eat here at least twice a month (or more). The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Absolutely recommend if you want good seafood in a relaxed setting!
Great for Catering!!! We used The Wharf at Bannerman for our Taekwondo Academy's Anniversary event last fall and everything went wonderful. They delivered even earlier than promised and people were happy with the meals! If you need catering I would highly recommend them!
This is definitely a hidden gem! My husband loved the oysters and lobster. I had the chicken po boy and it was excellent!
We absolutely adore all of the staff at this location, we consider them our Friday night family. The food is always fresh and delicious, not to mention the restraunt is super clean. You can’t beat the Wharf at Bannerman.
