OK, OK, OK... I've always heard the best burgers in Tallahassee were from Vertigo, but I had never tried them until today. I was in a Burger mood, so I decided to finally walk through the doors and give them a try and I'm so happy that we did!These burgers were huge! They were juicy and absolutely delicious.. I can see for sure why they are the Number 1 recommendation in town for an amazing Burger. It was so filling, and I didn't even need any extra ketchup or anything - it was so good just by itself.I grabbed a Rewards card (you get a Burger FREE every 10 you buy) and stamped off the first two Burgers...and we can't wait to go back!
The burgers are tasty -- not huge but not small either -- prepared to requested doneness, with a variety of creative toppings. You order inside and someone brings out your food. We sat outside. Quite pleasant.
Brunch Burger is everything you want in a breakfast. Peppery Bradley's sausage and beef blended patty, crispy bacon, crispy hashbrowns, melty cheese, and perfectly cooked egg. The perfect bend of juicy and crunchy elements is a masterpiece for the taste buds. Keep it up Vertigo!!!!
If you comparing the two Vertigo and red caboose well I'm going to be honest with you I do a lot of reviews Vertigo it's got red caboose beat by hands down better prices better food better atmosphere that's a guarantee like I said I do a lot of reviews for Google you can check them out you'll see I right the food comes out hot and fresh service is great and restaurant has kept up clean what more can you ask for we definitely recommend this particular restaurant
Last minute choice for lunch. That Shrimp burger with Remoulade sauce was fabulous. And the.huge onion rings ... best ive ever had anywhere (and I travel a lot.) Amazing lunch.
Delicious burgers! The Round Here is easily my favorite. The staff is really friendly and seem to genuinely have fun and enjoy working here. I always come back for a good burger, but enjoy dining in for the pleasant atmosphere
I was pretty hungry on my way home from work so I stopped by to grab something fast to eat. They have a pretty good menu. Couldn't really choose. I ended up choosing Buffalo chicken burger with a side of fried onion rings. Did not disappoint. My burger had the perfect balance of spicy and tangy, crunchy and funky (from blue cheese). Will try Reuben sandwich next time.The place was cozy and not too crowded. It was pretty loud tho- TV + rock music. Restrooms and tables are clean. If you want to go on a date here, take your food to go and go to the nearby park so you can hear each other.
My buddy and I visited about three weeks ago and I was sorely disappointed on this visit. 1) There were precisely 5 people in the joint --including us-- and it took 32 min to get our meal. 2) When it finally arrived the food was not hot. 3) The burger itself was indeed a high quality piece of meat; but overcooked. 4) The (apparently somewhat stale) bread disintegrated while eating the burger. (If there's anything I hate, it's bad buns.) Heck; nowadays even Wendy's guarantees their fries will be hot; how come this "high-end" burger joint can't do that? Vertigo's website boasts: ..."It’s most likely the thought of a dizzying, lightheaded, weak in the knee experience." No, it's paying $30 for two burgers and getting a mediocre product that makes me weak in the knees.
I used to come here all the time when I lived closer but after I moved out to the north side I really don't get over here much. Went today for lunch and it was okay. In some ways, I feel like they deserve a three-star for two reasons: I ordered the Round Here, which used to be my staple, and I'm pretty sure it was supposed to come with red onions but it did not. Secondly that burger was so not medium! I wondered why my order was taking so long but I guess it was because they were trying to cook it well done! But to be fair the French fries were very fresh and I forgot how good the seasoning is. I also used to think that these burgers were more expensive than they are so I guess I can't complain about that. All in all, a solid meal but it seems like they are suffering like so many other businesses during these hard times.
Unbelievable hamburgers. Only offering is hamburgers with a turkey burger and non meat burger for those who need it. Great combinations for topics. In-house onion rings which are yummy. Nice out door seating. Very nice experience.
