The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly, we just happened upon the place and took a chance! Best food in your Tallahassee!
Nice diner serving breakfast/lunch type fare. Classic lunchboxes decorate the inside. A bit cramped. Bathrooms outside around back. Some outdoor seating. Friendly servers. Make sure you have plenty of time during peak weekend brunch hours.
On my many food adventures it was brought to my attention to try this restaurant out . Automatically soon as you walk in you feel the homey vibes everything homemade , real comfy like seating and just the aroma of good food being made , For my first dish here i decided to have the blueberry pancake and the country fried steak combo . As for the pancake it was incredibly sweet and almost tasted like a cake also real fluffy too . Unfortunately i should’ve did research when it comes to “country fried “ steak because i thought i was going to receive a nice T bone steak just fried in oil or butter but it was definitely the complete opposite. I opened my to go box and seen a huge slab of DEEP fried steak and immediately i told myself to not knock it till i tried it , but honestly it just want for me the steak tasted so oily and heavily battered to the point the steak no longer tasted like steak . Overall we got our food pretty quick service was great but I Sure will have to come back and try something different
Great tiny breakfast place! Great food, great coffee, great service, great ambiance.I got the croissant french toast and it was delicious ?.Only thing I would change is the scrambled eggs are cut up too much. Have to eat them with a spoon ?.
If it is kid approved, I will always recommend. My son loved it and ate all of his food. The waitress was so kind. I do not know if they have kids menus for the kiddos to color on as we were not offered one. I think that would be a plus to introduce. Food came out quickly. Waitress frequently checked on us. My steak was great.
Seriously never been as pleased with breakfast as I was with this place. Every single thing I ate was amazing. Everyone working here was so nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend, and definitely will be coming again. Service was great, the kitchen was filled with amazing people, food was ridiculous. Flat out amazing.
really delicious country fried steak !! i got the country fried steak sandwich with curly fries and gravy on the side (at 7:30am, they do lunch and breakfast all day!), and it was all delicious. the sandwich especially was great, the steak was fried perfectly and seasoned really well, and it came with two scrambled eggs and cheese on lightly toasted bread, it was amazing ! my friend got the western omelette, and they did not skimp on the fillings, it was a really great value and looked awesome. also, the value is amazing, the prices are great for the quality imo. super friendly staff and good vibes, one of my favorite diners in tally :)
Small and cozy but yet so amazing. From waitress/waiter to the cook. This establishment is amazing. I like to do take out. Quick and easy. You may wait longer if it's a special holiday so plan accordingly. Food is so wonderful it makes you want to slap your mom. Just kidding. But the food is perfect
The restaurant was packed when my partner and I arrived. We couldn't find a place to park so I went in to ask. Staff was very friendly and answered my question & put us on the reservation list. We ended up parking across the street at a shopping center.The food was very good. I got an order of blueberry croissant french toast with ham and eggs. The ham was perfect, the french toast was divine, and the eggs were pretty much what I would expect from scrambled eggs. My partner got an omelet with hash browns and a side pancake. He said his food was really good and as a person who split his pancake with him and admired the hash browns from afar, I second his opinion.I hope we get to come back soon. Not sure if there's ever a time when this place isn't busy as it seems to be a local favorite. The facilities don't accommodate too many tables so having to wait kinda seems baked into the experience. Which with the nice service and good food, that isn't really much of a problem for me.Also the prices were really good!
Awesome breakfast, really crowded and busy. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Delivery people on & out constantly and now we know why. Great prices and value.Definitely recommend.
