Great food, great service and great place for a get together ?
Wonderful breakfast today at the @thehawthornbakery I was pleasantly surprised by their simple yet explosion of flavors menu. Their Farm toast was not only beautiful but delicious. So many colors and textures- don’t be intimidated by the whipped beet farm cheese, it’s what makes the dish! The french toast ? ?.
My children and I ate inside. We enjoyed the food and experience. The portion sizes are large and there were a lot of tasty combinations. There were several options for my son who is picky/sensitive to textures/allergic to many foods. The grilled cheese with milk bread is huge! It was fun to see it brought out to the table.
Great chicory coffee and chocolate croissant. Had the avocado toast which was delicious. The burrito is very big. Everyone loved their meals.
Amazing food and great atmosphere!! Everything is so super fresh and beyond delicious. Definitely hard to make a decision because everything is so tempting!! You’re not going to be disappointed with anything on the menu!!
Went here for their pizza on the weekends! Sooo good! They had some really fun toppings. Can’t wait to come try their other foods! Also I love the interior design of the space, really chic vibe but also super laid back
Such a charming place for lunch or dinner, easily one of the most casual eateries in the city. Great staff, and great food, slightly more pricey than your average comparison but well worth it. Grab a fresh baked goodie to take home!
Nice spot with good bakery items, sandwiches, and pizza. I’ve been several times and enjoyed almost everything I’ve ordered. My only complaint is that the duck confit pizza I tried was way too salty, to the point where it was pretty much inedible.
Took my son today for lunch and he picked out Caesar salad and ate almost every bite! The atmosphere and vibe is very inviting and nice. My 7 year old picked out a brownie for dessert and I chose a strawberry pastry. Everything was amazing, the service was great and we will be back again to try more yummy foods!
Hawthorn Bistro & Bakery makes a healthy organic whole grain rye sourdough bread, available Freshly baked at 4 PM, Wednesday through Saturday. I also enjoy an Ology lager and a good book when I buy bread. At 4 PM on Friday through Sunday, Hawthorn Starts serving pizza. The crust is a sourdough wheat & rye. I tried the Marguerita pizza with fresh tomato sauce and basil which was simple and excellent.
