I have to say, I called this morning about ordering 2 cakes. I spoke with Haley, and she was amazing. She was so patient with me, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely suggest going there.
Who doesn't love the aroma when you enter a true bakery? Well, I could fill my lungs as well as my stomach daily with their goods.
When it was time to order a college graduation cake-FSU Spring 2022, I went with Tasty Pastry. I am not local to Tallahassee, so I did what most would do, I did an online search "top 10 best bakery in Tallahassee". Tasty Pastry was one of the top 10, I did some reading on their history, and just went for it without a back-up plan. Not only did I communicate via their website, I also made a couple of phone calls. I worked with Kristina on the order and everything was flawless from beginning to end. She answered all of my questions and was such a delight to work with. The graduation cake was exactly what our son wanted, it was so delicious and the price was just right! We also picked up some cinnamon rolls, those were the big and so good as well! Next time I am in Tallahassee, I will definitely be visiting Tasty Pastry. Great desserts, breakfast items and customer service was superb!
There's a reason this place has been so successful since the 60s! All the baked goods are amazing but don't miss out on the savory items too. The spinach and tomato quiche is to die for. We ordered FSU graduation custom cookies for this past weekend and couldn't be more pleased. The cookies were delicious and exactly what we wanted. Plus ordering over the phone was super easy thanks to the kind staff!
Tasty Pastry Bakery is a family owned bakery, opened in April 1963. We are a real, old fashioned bakery whose treats will put a smile on anyone's face!
Everything I have purchased here has been absolutely amazing. Love their casseroles and quiches. Very nice employees, too.
The Valentine's cookie was so soft and tasty. I thought the thick frosting we be over kill, but I when I tasted it the icing was barely noticeable and cookie was lovely. We will be back again.
The customer service is great here I love the staff, but this writing on my cake is absolutely horrendous. I wish they'd used some type of cursive or decorative writing instead of this 5th grade level manuscript
