Food was fantastic. Loved the fried dumplings. I kinda wish the fried rice was a little more fried but the flavor was very good
Always an all around great experience! 2 years later (2.26.2022) and the food is still good. Yet some of our fave dishes from before have been removed from the menu. This time we asked for spicy veggie lo mein with extra broccoli... They only forgot the spicy peppers! Still yummy...
This place is a little out of the way in terms of location, and if you’re a vegan who loves Sichuan food, it’s not worth it. The Mapo Tofu is simply not authentic at all. It’s made with vegetables and is served with rice in a sad plastic container (only take out options available...). There was zero numbiness to it, only heat. The Mala flavor quality that comes with Sichuan peppercorns was not there. I think if you want a more americanized version of chinese food this could satisfy your desire. It was serviceable. In terms of actual customer service though, the man that took my order was wonderfully friendly. His presence made me happy to be there. The food, not so much.

The first time I got take out from here I got general tso chicken and it was decently good and at a good price. The second time, I got cashew chicken and it smelled very funky(not good at all), so I couldn’t finish it. It might have just been that dish but it really put me off so I will be looking for another take out place in the meantime.
Yeah i dont know what happened to Tan's. It's edible. But pad thai has no veggies, not really spicy or flavorful at all. Money would have gone further just grabbing something from the grocer. Not recommended.

Oh my gosh, the garlic pork was SO GOOD. Flavorful, with just a little spicy kick the more you eat. The veggies were still crisp, even though they were well cooked and sauced. HIGHLY recommend.
Never disappointed here. We enjoy anything we order from Tan's. The lady who takes the orders is the sweetest! Highly recommend.
It was OK. They used to be a more authentic Asian Restaurant. Now they have the same ole same ole as all other Chinese restaurants have...sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli. etc. I have had better of those elsewhere.
