My wife and me discovered this gem a few months ago and it is now our go to seafood restaurant. The seafood is always so fresh and delicious. I’m a blackened fish fanatic and generally go for the snapper or grouper. My wife is a “ Deep South” girl who was raised on fried catfish, cheese grits, hush puppies & fries and this restaurant never disappoints her. The serving portions for entree and sides are generous. Staff is friendly and attentive. Before we eat, we like to grab a cocktail at the bar, and occasionally eat dinner at the bar. Fun daily specials. We’re anxious to try the Thursday shrimp special. Highly, highly recommend.

Decided to try this restaurant for brunch because I’d heard good things. I was a little disappointed at first because there wasn’t any live music as advertised, but we still decided to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Our daughter needed a high chair, which the hostess brought out, and fortunately we always wipe down the high chair because this one was FILTHY. It had a horrible green gunk all over it, which I wouldn’t have realized if I hadn’t wiped it down with a sanitary wipe before putting my daughter in it. It took several wipes to get it clean enough for her to sit in it. I mentioned it to the waitress who kind of brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal, but it goes to show that they do not clean the chairs at all, which in the midst of a pandemic is a little concerning. When the food came out, everything looked delicious, and many of the items were good, but one thing I could not wrap my mind around was how bad the scrambled eggs were. They had a horrible burnt taste but weren’t visibly burnt, which makes me think they may have cooked them on a dirty stovetop or pan. It was just overall not a great brunch experience, especially when there are so many amazing brunch places in the area. If it wasn’t for the filthy high chair and the unfulfilled promise of live music, I may give this place another shot, but it just wasn’t worth it at the end of the day.

Food and service was fantastic! We got the blackened gator tail as an appetizer; the local oysters, Royal red peel and eat shrimp, and the shrimp and grits ??Also the cocktails we great ?

Never met a Manager (Patrick) so rude in my life. This was one the worse Father's Day Dinner ever. My mother's food was horrible she sent it back twice. She never touch the plate or accepted it from waiter but was force to pay 26.00 for it. The Manager Patrick is one of the most disrespectful and rude staff members i have ever come in contact with. I will make sure all of my people never come here due to the ugly customer service.

The oysters from Texas were nice, big and plump. The crab claws were mushy and not so good. Hubbie enjoyed the fish and grits. The clam chowder was nice and filling. They had plenty of servers. It has a nice decor and bar, inside and out.

While walking up to the restaurant from the parking lot we heard what was supposed to be music coming from the outside seating area, so we changed our minds about sitting outside and went in. Very nice crew all the way from beginning to end!!! The oysters were good. The shrimp was okay, though some parts must’ve sat at the bottom of fryer where over cooked old dark crumbs had settled. The calamari was okay to good. Sweet potato fries were cold. Collards too vinagary. Hush puppies were good but over cooked. Mashed potatoes tasted old, not good. Cole slaw should have been colder, but was fairly good. Dad, mom and 3 little boys $107.72, including $18 tip.

This was my second time coming and this time I actually enjoyed it because my 1st time sucked. Was there for a bday brunch and food and drinks were good. Service was a bit slow and I'd recommend 2 waiters for a large group nonetheless our waiter did an amazing job but I could tell she was overwhelmed. Will definitely be back. Shrimp and grits only have 6 Shrimp so be aware of that wish it were more.

Sadly I will never visit this establishment again based on the owners policy. My girlfriends and I went there last night and ordered the blue crab claws steamed. Both my friend and I noticed the fishy taste and smell after eating the first one. We both agreed they were not fresh. When the manager came over he said that it was the owner’s policy not to remove the item from the bill. We were not looking for free food just to have the item removed or switched out with another appetizer. Unfortunately, we were only offered a free dessert or a beer which none of us eat or drink! I think this policy is ridiculous to pay for something you couldn’t eat or enjoy! Needless to say we paid our bill and went around the corner to Horizon and had a good meal and service. If I could give zero stars I would! Never again! What a slap in the face as I love to support local businesses but this one is off my list!

We had a truly delicious meal. Patrick, our server, was attentive and friendly even though they were packed. The gator bites, calamari, fried snapper, and trigger fish were all excellent. We will definitely return!

I was looking forward to coming but I truly regret trying it. The food was overcooked and nasty AF!!
