RACIST ESTABLISHMENTVery unpleasant customer service from the guy with the dark hair. Caught an attitude when I asked if he had gloves when he reached in the case to retrieve the cookies that I ordered. Promising me that he washes his hands is not reassuring amongst a pandemic in the same establishment that required you to have a mask on to place an order. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like indegenous people by the way he handled the brown skinned women that came in after me. Just very unpleasant experience after spending hundreds of dollars with this place. Would not recommend if he's working there.
Sweet Pea was my favorite when I lived in Tallahassee! Came back to visit after moving away two years ago and the food was just as delicious. Only gave 4 stars because the only seating options are outdoors and there were tons of flies and wasps circling the tables. But take-out is always an option as well :) Love the food here though and the employees are sweet!
Sweet Pea is delicious! visited a few years ago and couldn't wait to go back and I was not disappointed. can't recall what I had the first time around, but this time I got the BLT which was filling and delicious, and my friend got the buffalo tofu which was the right amount of spicy. took a blondie and a hello dolly to enjoy later- the hello dolly was a tad too hard for me but great flavor, but the blondie was DIVINE.
Really pleasant experience. I got some sort of greek tofu salad wrap that was amazing! I also had red cabbage slaw that was wonderful as well. Finished it off with a Fat Tire beer. Ample outdoor dining area and a variety of seating options. Giant shaded awning. Bring your dog or even your kids. Friendly access to their WIFI. Ill be back next time i come to Tallahassee.
Food was so good. The food is good and fresh and everyone is extremely friendly. They also have baked goods that are beyond delicious
Great food and friendly, chill vibe. Got the falasome and the rancheros (with a side of hummus and veggies).
Sweet pea used to be one of my favorite restaurants but as of lately they’ve gotten so lazy. numerous times my order has been wrong, quality and presentation has been subpar. They have also been taking a very long time with my food. people who order after me and get the same thing will get their food before mine. they have had a history of being rude to their black customers. this is not the first time myself or my friends have noticed this either. in short, the food and service is good depending on the day and who is working.
This is my go-to vegan restaurant. They have excellent main stay items (like tempeh Reuben) along with other themed specials. Tasty dessert too. This is excellent for vegan and omnivores alike!
The rustic vibes of this quaint restaurant were enjoyable. I got the black bean burger and the poutine fries. I could tell the fries were hand cut and fresh ?.
Not really sure where to begin. Three out of five of our orders were incorrect. Certainly wouldn't say that it's inexpensive. Loud screamo punk was playing in the store, to the point it was difficult to hear. They categorically refused to put the gravy on the side of two orders because they, "don't have any dishes that it wouldn't melt through" despite the dish being placed on a hard plastic plate that wouldn't be melted. Can't say it was a good experience.
