Good food at a reasonable price. The catfish basket at $13 was wonderful. I will happily recommend this restaurant to anyone.Google maps directions are a bit wonky and a more visible sign would be helpful. We drove right past the place the first time.

What a treat!!! My Hubby and I went about 5:30 tonight, the service was fantastic and the food?? SO GOOD. My hubs got the brisket, there was a lot on the plate. I got the ribs, a lot of those too. Like biting into butter!! The sides were very good as well. We will go back, soon!!!

Exceptional BBQ at a great price. If you like BBQ, Summers is a must try and you won't be disappointed.Order at the Bar, then pick out a seat next to a window overlooking the river to enjoy this feast.We tried the chicken and pork sandwiches. Very large portion sizes and both were perfectly cooked with a great smokehouse flavor. The sauces were above average, but the great flavor of the meat, more than made up for that. I wanted to try the habenaro sauce, but decided to wait until the next visit.For sides we tried the potato salad and meaty beans, both were very good and the portions were more than enough.Staff is friendly and checked up on us a couple of times.The restaraunt was clean and quiet, with a Americana style decor.We'll definitely be back, give them a try.
When traveling, a person is often left with a first and only impression. For me, it wasn't especially good. They were out of pretty much everything. What was available was pulled pork bathed in melted grease, baked beans, and collards with stems. Nice people. Mr. F-Bomb at the next table was amusing. Summers Smokehouse aka Warrior serves as a better karaoke bar and dance hall.

I updated the stars and want to thank you for offering to make this right. ??I really wanted this to be a 5 star review. I think the main pupose is a bar. The staff was very friendly. They had run out of items on the menu at 5pm but i think it was due to next door...brisket (which was an item we wanted to order) and several sides. We ordered the pulled pork. The pork had a great flavor but was a bit "soggy", collards were ok if you like them w lots of stems, baked beans were great. The tables and chairs were clean and kept.
The ribs were fall off the bone goodness.. We set outside with the river front view . Wait staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. we'll be back
