The food was amazing! When I went there, there was a long wait time for takeout due to short staffing, but the guy doubling as a cashier and the only cook was up front about the wait time. Not only was he super friendly and professional, but he is also a great cook! Definitely worth the wait!

They were slow so I didn't understand the 1. Crowd waiting 2. ABSENT hostess 3. Need for anyone's name to be on a list. However a group was sat before us. Then we waited AGAIN!? So I eased on up to MAKE SURE a bus load hadn't crept in or something. Then the hostess made eye contact with me and asked how many ? in the party and got us seated; (just 2?) I noticed that new grilled cheese pork sandwich that I wanted to try. HOWEVER...???? the meat was RAW and they gave me sliced cheese!! Yet the photo had an image of a melted "cheese sauce"; I clarified about ingredients before ordering ?. So the manager came out and explained that the meat is prepared like that but he'd gladly replace it for something else (that was commendable) but said that the sandwich came with sliced cheese?. He gave me a different meat with some of the other cheese sauce (queso) included and it was cool..I didn't stick around and eat there though. My kid loved their food!!
We had the family feast. It's a ton of food and excellent BBQ. That was coupled with gallons of Arnold Palmer's and friendly service.

I know what Sonny’s is, and I still like it. I’ve always had a good meal with quick efficient service, and this location did not disappoint. Portions were fair and served hot. Our server was excellent. If ever back in the area I’ll definitely come back.
The food and servers are good. I've enjoyed interactions with every server I've had so far. They're attentive and friendly and don't let my sweet tea empty. No complaints there. The host however is terrible. Every Sunday we come in for lunch and every Sunday he is irritable, does not greet us or even look at us when we come in, and gets sassy often. Today he decided that it was more important to talk about the power outage at the Monroe Street location for five plus minutes and aggressively ask us if we came from there rather than seat us. He then complained about how many people he's had to deal with today and was just overall very unpleasant. After this I saw him seat a few other tables, standing over them once they settled in just complaining about his day for multiple minutes as these customers looked miserable. Seriously, this guy shouldn't have a job. It's been like six months we've been dealing with his terrible service and I think we're probably just going to start driving across town to another location from now on.
The whole experience was excellent. Service was top notch. food was hot and arrived in just a few minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area.
Pretty consistently good here. Service is decent and myself and my friends go here regularly. Ive been going to Sonny's for at least 25 years and it's always good. The redneck eggrolls do not disappoint!
We came through the drive thru today. Our order was correct and was delicious! However, the guy taking our order seemed very stressed out, and a bit rude. He never thanked us for our order. He was yelling back some orders to the kitchen while handing us our food. It was very disappointing customer service from our favorite Sonny's.
