Went for an early Sunday dinner at about 5:10.Greeter said there would be a 15 min. wait. Several people waiting ahead of us.Seated on the patio. Waitress was pleasant. Got and brought out our drink orders and flatware in a sleeve, but no napkins or paper towels.Food delivered to our table fairly quickly, but not a paper towel roll. Asked for it again, and finally delivered when we were almost finished dining.Food was good, but this location was severely under staffed.
This is a great place for consistently GOOD BBQ. They have different sauces for every taste. Service is almost always good.I tried ther brisket grilled cheese last week. It was terrible. I'd say 80% of the "meat" was fat. I am familiar with "moist" brisket. But this was Judy fat. I'll say, I got a bad batch.
Food was delicious! I had the Cuban, husband had the brisket grilled cheese. We had fried pickles as an appetizer...Sooo good!Reason for the 3 stars: service was slacking! We were served by the hostess...she was great, and super busy and should not have been waiting on us. Our waiter brought us our food and that was the last and only time we saw him. We didn't get refills and we waited for 20 min for our check. Next time we will probably just order to go.
Worst service from a kitchen ever. Food portions lowered and took 3 times as long to get the food as normal. When food arrived the orders were not right on all 3 plates and the manager attempted to blame the waitress which we had was great. That shows very poor professionalism on the managers part. The past 3 times we have eaten there has been like that, poor food quality. If this keeps up we will go to the other Sonny's on the opposite side of town.
What a terrible experience! I came in and placed a carry out order. There seemed to be two different people working the drive thru and carry out. My order was taken by the drive thru associate. She said give her a few minutes. After waiting almost 30 minutes (28 to be exact) she asked if I had gotten my order yet. She spoke with the Carry out associate who went over and started bagging my order. Meanwhile it had been sitting there for quite a long time. She handed me my order and then started checking it. The order was not correct and the food was ice cold! I asked for a refund and they had to get the manager. While waiting they told me that they would comp the food. I told them I did not want free food, I wanted my food hot! The Manager came out and Voided my receipt. She then said they were going to throw the food away so I should just take it. I told her no thank you. I was never apologized to by the manager and she acted as this was a normal occurrence. I don’t usually leave reviews but this really topped the cake tonight. So sorry I wasted 30 minutes of my time!
We just had Our food delivered through doordash from Sonny's and It was the best meal we've had in a really long time. Everything was so fresh and all the meat was So tender and yummy.. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone
Me and my mom's go there every month or so to do lunch. We haven't had a bad experience yet and we've been doing this for over a year. Food is always hot and flavorful, sweet tea is usually banging, just an all-around good place for us to spend the afternoon having lunch before I head to work.
Wr had a pork sandwich with delicious green beans and a pork dinner with ribs and pulled pork and delicious Cole slaw and beans. Soda and iced tea come in huge glasses and they offer drinks to go. Very nice waitress who answered my many questions about the menu. Great linner at 3pm!
I did have a good review on this place as it was one of our favorite places to go until recently. We waited an hour the other night for our food, others who came in after us were serves and left. Our waitress finally said they had a mixup with out order and was making it now. That was 45 min in. Another 15 and they brought our food. I bit down into my medium well burger that was burnt black. My husband went to speak to the manager who said she would fix me one to GO. Thirty minutes later I finally got it in a bag and we left. It had a burnt spot, but I picked it off and tried to eat a little of what was left. The lady across from us said her garlic bread was burnt and both of their orders had cold meat. I have sent an email to corporate. This was such a great place to have gone down so far. Shame
Cuban sandwich with side of potato salad. The sandwich was so greasy I wanted to vomit. I thought it was only supposed to have pulled pork but it had sliced pork too (which was tough and fatty). Potato salad - basic but good. Would not recommend this place. For just the sandwich, tiny potato salad and drink, it came to $15.36….not worth it. Would never return.
