Great local spot that never fails. Delicious pub food, good portions and fair prices and friendly staff. Always fun to shoot some pool too!
What a great find. We love to watch the Premier and Champion League soccer games. The staff was very accommodating to put the games on the main TV. I had the Philly Cheese steak which was perfect. Our servers, Nicole and Austin, were very attentive and nice to talk to. We will definitely be back again. We highly recommend Salty Dawg.
They have the best food hands down!!! Also, Nicole is an Amazing server who keeps you laughing and smiling the whole time. Their customer service along with great food cooked fresh from the grill is Unique compared to what is experienced today.
The food was pretty good. It was hot and fresh. But it took 20 minutes to get a hot dog and some chicken tenders. There were only 3-4 people in there when we got there, so it shouldn't have taken so long. Then there was the 1 oz cup of dipping sauce for 6 tenders ...?
We had the BBQ sandwich which they serve only on Thursdays. They were sold out by 1:00 today. Delicious!!One thing to know before you order: everything is all carte!! So if you order sweet potato fries and Diet Coke, your $7 sandwich turns into $16. We’ll share a side next time!!
After a long day I decided to go to my favorite neighborhood deli. The young lady that took my order over the phone was unacceptable. Her response to my requested order was “I can’t promise I can do that.” I was immediately disturbed. I have never been given that response. Once I arrived at the window to pick up and purchase my order, there was no greeting. I payed for my order then the young lady said “your food isn’t ready, it will be out shortly” then closed the window giving me no time to respond. Keep in mind I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes after being told it will be ready in 30 minutes. I am very patient when it comes to Salty Dawg because the food is amazing and they’re normally polite. I went back to the car and waited a little longer. I came back to the window and had to press the bell twice. The young lady then opened the window with my order. I grabbed the bag and then she closed the window with no words. I started to feel as if she was intentionally giving me a hard time. I knocked on the window and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to the manager how I was treated and that it wasn’t likely for me to be treated this way. The manager apologized and said that it was a busy night. I then felt as my treatment was dismissed, giving the young lady an excuse for her behavior. Good customer service should be given at all times, no excuses.
Pool tables, darts and food? You can't beat that. The place is small bit packed with good people. The food that I saw looked good and what I had was amazing. The pool tables are some of the best in the area. Dart boards are well maintained. Although I never played them. It seems they have quite a following judging from all the memorabilia on the walls. Great experience all around.
Great locally owned restaurant with good affordable food and drinks. You can dine in or order online/call for pick up. Been going here for years. Wings and burgers are great. Great small businesses get busy (for a reason) so may require some patience when ordering, especially since covid hit.
Best wings in town. Sometimes they are anorexic. I blame it on Covid. Cooked just right. A little skimpy on the flats! Order is always under the name Ed. Killer blue cheese dressing!
Just moved here from Philly. If you want a real cheesteak go here! Ask them to not toast the roll and it's like you're eating at Gino's or Pat's in South Philly. Go Birds.
