Years ago in Tallahassee there was a place called Thai gourmet ; they had the best pad Thai ever!! They closed unfortunately, and I’ve searched around looking for a pad Thai that was similar to theirs. Dublin Ireland had a restaurant that was close, but now Royal Thai and sushi has finally re-created it!!! So good!! And Mia is amazing waitress!!? definitely will be back!!
Every visit they never disappoint. Friendly service, great servers, excellent chefs that also greet when they can. I've enjoyed curry chicken appetizer, fresh spring rolls w amazing peanut sauce, as well as Pad Thai and their sushi lunch can't be beat on quality.
This place has the best fried rice in town by far. But the first time I went, there was a dead fly in my food, so ever since it's been fried rice Russian Roulette with every bite. But I still come back every once in a while because it's just that good.
Pad thai was made with the wrong noodles, didn't have the proper flavoring or consistency. Sauce wasn't good. Also ordered some sticky rice and mango which seemed to be made with some creamy alternative...how disappointing. This restaurant does not know how to make authentic Thai food. I shudder to think of the freshness of the sushi ?
Waiter forgot to ring up an entire entree. Additionally, I had to ask for them to put tempura crunch on my roll and the waiter gave me a hard time, walked to the sushi maker who also happens to be the manager and came back saying it doesnt come with the roll. I literally had to ask for the menu, open it up and point to where it said TEMPURA CRUNCH ON TOP. After he gave me back the roll he said “don’t worry about it the crunch is on the house”. Ive never experienced having to argue over getting my food served like it states on the menu. When we finally realized that the waiter fully zoned out when taking out order and missed an entire entree we spoke to the manger about how we waited over 1.5 hours and even referenced the entree when the waiter was filling water and he said oh yeah but must have been ignoring us again and he said that he could ring it up now but we would have to pay for it! Just completely trash customer service, steer clear of this place.
Location: The place is located in a convenient spot. It is clean, and so is the restroom.Service: server was attentive, kind and really quick with everything.Food: O.M.G the Pad thai is the best, I had the mild heat and it was the perfect balance of heat and the noodles were so delicious. The chef should never leave, he knows what he is doing back there. I also ordered green tea, which was tasty.I will definitely be coming back?

I ate here last Tuesday and food was AMAZING and high quality, highly recommend and at a super great price. The only reason i have to complain is because of the server. She was very impersonal, which to me isn't a huge problem, i get it some of us just want to work, get paid, and go home. Maybe working there is not that fun, maybe there's personable problems, whatever. Now i have an ISSUE when the server is rude, snappy, and impatient with me. My whole eating experience felt rushed and i felt like the server would rather do literally ANYTHING but serve me. The other servers there looked like they were having a great time, they were all laughing with their tables and amongst each other, you can tell they are all very close and work well together as a team, and in turn leave the customers in a good mood.Now i have to leave this place with 5 stars as the food was amazing and ALL the other employees seemed helpful and happy to be there. hopefully if you decide to eat here you will not get the same server, or even more hopefully the owner will see this review and do something about it.kind regards - Bud
I ordered a Florida roll, salmon roll, and Thai tea. My Florida roll had hair in it, so the server took it off my check. I discovered the hair halfway through my rolls so I stopped eating the rest my sushi immediately after that. I wish the salmon roll was also taken off my check though, because why would I continue eating off the same plate after finding the hair?The Thai tea was incredibly sweet, so I diluted it enough with my water to basically make one drink turn into three.Also, we were charged a 20% service charge for a party of 5. I’m not sure if that’s typical since I thought it’s usually parties of 6 or more that incur a service charge.Our server was very nice and I do not blame her at all for any of the issues we faced tonight.
Absolutely great sushi! Excellent customer service and the place is amazing!
