My husband had eaten here earlier in the week and he came home raving about it. So, we ordered and picked up, WOW!! that is all I can say. It was the best fried catfish and shrimp I have eaten in 20 yrs. We will be back and I have been spreading the word!!
No hush puppies served with grouper meal they charge.75 cents extra.!!! Owners are from the middle east no thank you for stopping by and the grouper was thin cut . Slaw had to pay extra $1.25 because I didn't want fries. No hush puppy. Hope they make some changes. Just under $15.00
Stopped by today for a late lunch and it was great! Had fried shrimp with fries and dunk ($10.99 + tax)!
It was excellent service. Israa was very plesant and Tony the cheif was great. We enjoyed every bite. I would recommend any one to dine at the Red Snapper.

Did this place change ownership? The food is seriously lacking now. The fish was bland. The fries are not the same as before. I don't know what they put in their hushpupies now but they are the worst . They don't even taste like hushpupies. And I even ordered an extra batch. Serious waste of the 25 bucks I spent here.
I had blue crabs with garlic sides. Blue crabs tasted like they were cooked in old dirty water, corn was under cooked(hard and chewy). Potatoes were spicy even though I only asked for garlic butter. Overall I would not be back. Waste of money.
Was looking for a seafood restaurant online that was a no frills great food, excellent customer service with a great smile cozy kinda place and I couldn’t ask for better finding a gem at Red Snapper. The darling Kaya is a ray of sunshine every time I visit.Try the fried Oreos for a new and tasty treat. I had the grilled snapper today and was cooked just the way I love my fish tender and crispy well seasoned!Thank you for your great service❗️
More help is needed in the kitchen, perhaps the menu is too much to handle because there are quality control problems. I ate two fried dishes and wondered if the oil had been hanging out too long? On one dish the batter seemed to disintegrate and transform into a oil puddle as soon as it hit my lips. Another dish I ordered, twice on separate visits, didn't have the same ingredients nor taste the same. The bahn mi sandwiches have been my safest purchases.I wonder if the staff eats the food they serve and think, yeah I would pay for this over and over again. Anybody who works there, no matter their role, needs to form Voltron and fight to put out great food because people can ditch them for the other restaurants surrounding them.I never doubt the freshness of their ingredients so this is an execution problem imo.
