Try the Cha Gio spring rolls! They’re amazing
This is the BEST pho in all of Tallahassee! Not only is the food great but the owners are amazing! The portions are great (I usually get 2 meals) and really warms you up! I’ve been pretty sick lately and I’ve ordered 4 days in a row. The first day the owners daughter drew me a get well picture on my to-go box. The 3rd day I switched things up and let the owner choose my broth! The 4th day I added mushrooms and they added bok choy so I would get some veggies! Every time I have been in the restaurant or called to order they have been so kind. They even know me by name now. So not only does the food make me feel so much better but the people knock it out of the park! If you haven’t tried PhoMe you are really missing out! Their spring rolls are AMAZING too!
Not sure how this place got such good reviews on google but this place does not serve authentic Vietnamese food and is terrible. Would not recommend. We got pho, which the noodle did not taste right, broth was just ok but kind of bad. The grilled beef banh mi, meat was so salty and it had cabbage in it, kind of tasted like cole slaw. The mi quang was served with pho noodles, which was in the description but I didn’t read it because normally mi quang is just served with wide egg noodles, took a couple of bites cause I didn’t want to knock it til I tried it, but it tasted just like it looked, terrible.Banh mi is way over priced and has cabbage in it. Have never had banh mi with cabbage in it. Pickled veggies is normally carrots and daikon.
I was in town on vacation with my family and really craved some eggrolls. I was reluctant to try, but the pictures spoke to my soul!! I was overly impressed. "The food was delicious", is an understatement!! Whenever I visit Tallahassee, Pho me will be my go to spot. Even though I walked in 15 minutes before closing (I did apologize), I was greeted with a sincere smile and she walked me through the menu and ensured I got eveything I wanted. Thanks for the excellent service and food.
Tucked away off Apalachee Pkwy, but it is a great place to get Pho and spring rolls. Good portion sizes with good service. Highly recommend if you are on this side of town!
Everything was off in this place. From the 12 year old working the front counter. To the extremely old noodles that were dropped into my weak broth and then shattered into tiny pieces. The chili oil was like water. The vegetables were old. I feel bad honestly because the 12 year old was the best part about the whole place. Please make fresh noodles. Some people can tell. Don't get comfortable because you can. Step it up.
Don't let the negative reviews keep you from this place. It is truly a Tallahassee gem. If you think it's bland than you obviously don't have very good taste and don't consider how much time goes into preparing all the ingredients. Always fresh, always delicious. I write this because I truly enjoy going here as much as I can and I am grateful they exist for all to enjoy!
This is my go to place. Love their Pho and Rolls. A must visit for some good Pho. I been to a number of Pho places around The state and I would say on of my favorites.
I rate their pho 4/5 (grew up with Vietnamese families, and was taught how to make northern pho, and the broth is good, just needs an extra couple of hours on heat, IMO.The summer rolls are great, and the staff is nice.
GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD. INSTANT SEROTONIN!!
