I'm a long time local Newks patron. We got a pizza last night that wasn't cooked in the middle because everything was piled there, I got the same about two weeks ago. The salad looked good with the stuff on top that hid the wilted lettuce underneath, kind of edible after picking ... The high school kids working there were very loud, eating behind the counter and pretty busy on their mobile devices. Nice kids but need some guidance. This is our third time with a bad food experience over the past...two months. What happened?
Enjoyed my portobello sandwich with coleslaw. Other ladies I was with all loved their food too.
Ordered online an hour yesterday, April 08th before we got there then let them know 20 minutes ahead that I was on the way. As soon as we got there we still had to wait 10-15 minutes for our food. The girls in kitchen were on their phones snap chatting and/or taking pictures. When we received our salad the extra dressing was not in there and the salads were poorly made. The one in Albany is WAY better with high quality service and food. Unfortunately Tallahassee is not that way.
I ordered takeout from Newk’s last Sunday, a couple Caesar salads, a Greek salad, and a kids meal. The salads came in styrofoam packaging so I couldn’t see them when I left. When I got home this is what I found, a poor excuse for a full size salad, the Greek wasn’t any better. These were no bigger than the side salad I would have received at dine in. I’ve contacted customer service twice and have yet to get a response. I stopped going to Newk’s several months ago because the salad quality and quantity got so poor. I guess I’ll have to take another couple months off.To add to this review. I’ve submitted a feedback form twice without a response from the restaurant.
Ordered extras of almost every category for Cobb and Ultimate. Total cost $40 for 2 salads. This is what we got. Dead, wilted, yucky. Worse salad in town?
They left out part of our delivery order, and then instead of rectifying it they passed it off to Doordash who then passed it back to the store and then at the end of the night they still had not sent the missed order out. Newk's please get your stuff together!Oh and p.s. for your dining room maybe consider doing a remodel and getting the ripped and stained booths replaced?
Good food, very efficient! Never had a bad thing from soup to sandwich’s, mac and cheese is great and creamy
We stopped in for lunch and were so pleased! It's in a strip mall but has tables outside as well. You order at the counter and then find a table - they bring your food to you. There are awesome sandwiches, incredible soups, and salads. You can order combo meals as well. The service is efficient and the place is very popular with locals. Recommend this for lunch after touring the Maclay State Park and Gardens.

Great food and service! I did get to talk with one very intelligent young man named Kevin, Friday night. He ensured me great service and kept the place neat and tidy. Overall i love the food and the service in particular is superior.
