I got 10 Baby Back Ribs, and my girlfriend got the pulled chicken sandwich. The ribs were as advertised, they fell apart and tasted great. They were good as is, but the Smoky Mountain sauce went really well with them. The chicken came in a ridiculously big portion, and had a really good, smoky flavor. Definitely worth a trip.
Mission BBQ for dinner was filling and tasty. The food here is good and the brisket is your best choice. The pulled pork is juicy and tasty, but just a bit greasy. The baked beans were fair at best, so fair, I wish I hadn’t ordered them. A nice variety of sauces is available and I enjoyed the Tennessee sauce. While I’m not a fan of their menu which is a la carte and does not offer any “meals” overall this is a very acceptable meal. It’s a bit more expensive than another national chain, but if it’s brisket your craving, this is your spot.
Nice atmosphere for lunch. Order taker/cashiers were courteous and food was ready very quickly. The crusty rind on the Brisket left me a little disappointed seeing how we were dining at 11:30 a.m.Would like to try something else of the menu before I make up my mind about this establishment. ?

Wow wow wow. This staff is amazing!! I called in the morning in desperate need for a last minute catering order for 30-40 people! And without any hesitation they were on it and told me they’d have it ready when I needed it. The entire doctors office was raving about the food and how impressed they were with the quality of the last minute request. Thank you Mission BBQ!!
This was my first time here at this establishment.Surprisingly when I first entered I noticed it was pretty quiet for a barbecue place. Second thing I noticed is that I did not smell any barbecue...When you walk in you look at the menu and place your order and wait on them to call your name. Then you pick where you would like to sit after you pick up your food.I got the five bone rib plate with greens. The collard greens were good but they unexpectedly had tomatoes in them.. which I've never had like this before but surprisingly it was pretty good after I took out most of the stewed tomatoes.The biggest disappointment was my ribs!It seem like they were very greasy to me ?I even put barbecue sauce on the ribs and they were greasy all the way down to the bone.This place was okay but I could not see myself coming back.
Amazing food staff was very nice and helpful the shrimp was awesome love the whole mission staff everyone was so helpful and nice
The service was top notch. We had baby back and spare ribs and pulled pork they were awesome, great flavor, very tender. Mac and Cheese was delicious. Highly recommended.
Tonight was my first time here at Mission BBQ and absolutely loved it! Great customer service from the cashiers and the General Manager there. They really took good care of me and had the food fresh and hot to go! Brought the food home to my parents (who are veterans) and they loved it! The brisket & chicken sandwiches were delicious and the mac n cheese was like it was made in my home kitchen. And the blueberry cobbler was so sweet and yummy! Definitely the best BBQ here in Tallahassee. Keep up the great work and keep on representing for our Veterans! :)
