When the restaurant was closed due to pandemic there shrimp quality went down will no longer eat here. Was a regular customer.
Not sure what happened to this place it used to be excellent…tonight’s meal of sweet n sour chicken and other basic staples was all over cooked and of poor quality ingredients. Even the fortune cookies were over done! How does that even happen? Fast curbside and service got the 2 stars otherwise it was a zero!?
Don't think they allow dining inside, but we were getting take out. They brought to car. I got shrimp with tomato and scrambled egg (Chef's Special). It was delicious.
I miss the Ming Tree that use to be on Lafayette Street. The only difference about this is that you are not able to dine in. You order your food and leave, but the food quality is still devine. I miss Ming Tree.
I come here a couple times a month. I always order "shredded pork and hot pepper." Its a nice area, its fast, people are nice, portions are generous, veggies are fresh, sauce is balanced, peppers are kind, what more could one ask?
Visiting Tallahassee from Northeast and the food was great. The owners are so nice and even came out to see our dogs and let our 170 lb Newfoundland give kisses. Delicious!!!
“GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!” That is how we were greeted the moment we opened the door to the restaurant. The lady came running up to the door with a mask on demanding that we close the door. She said that they have not allowed people into the restaurant since March 2020. Well you need to take the word “café” out of your name. You are now merely a Chinese takeout. Your food used to be good, but I will take your advice and never come back.
Ordered takeout. Not worth the effort or money. Food had NO taste! Portion sizes has been reduced & prices have increased. The worst part of my experience was with the service. Rude & ignored my request to modify or at least verify order.
Delicious Chinese Food! Great selection of quality dishes. Packed in tight containers. Food was still hot when I got home to eat after 15 minutes.
As a first time customer, I am severely disappointed with Ming Tree. The chicken and broccoli came in a water sauce and the chicken was undercooked, since I am pregnant, I could not enjoy the semi-cooked chicken dish and I am glad I checked before eating. The fried rice was dry and bland. The egg roll was the best part of the meal. Portion sizes are standard too. I would normally give a restaurant a second chance but the uncooked chicken coupled with the unpleasant waitress over the phone, I will probably stick with Emerald Garden.
