Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. We will come back again when we are in the area. Check this place out.
Ate here for the first time. It was a nice store and service was helpful. I asked about the chicken if it was spicy and they provided a real good way of explaining it (slight taste in back of throat) which was pretty accurate. It was good with the syrup.
This place does not have good choices of breakfast. Breakfast are too expensive and the sausage it is horrible. Paying $11 for two eggs and two biscuits and one smashed down sausage is not breakfast. If you are looking for choices with a lot of protein and gluten free alternatives, this is not the place.
I loved the maple street biscuit co. I frequented in another state. I was excited to try the Shannon Lakes Tallahassee location on a Sunday. At first, I tried ordering online but the items would come up out of order when they weren’t, maybe a website error or they just weren’t accepting online orders at that location anymore. So I then proceeded to call the store to place an order over the phone to go. It just rang and rang. I figured it must be super busy since it was a Sunday and that would explain why they weren’t answering the phones and why the website ordering was disabled. I then decided to just drive there to get my fix.I expected it to be packed but it was dead. Maybe two other small groups in the restaurant. The man who took our order did not greet us and was just overall unpleasant. Ordered our food and when it came out part of our order was incorrect and when they remade it, left out the eggs altogether. The food didn’t taste fresh: potatoes were cold and hard, the cinnamon biscuit tasted days old. Etc. Maybe they were just having an off day but we left very disappointed.
Always great food! I’m assuming with the recent lack of good help, that it’s hard to find good staff. This staff isn’t the answer. Very slow, no coffee, bar wasn’t stocked, they forgot peoples orders, no warm usual greeting. They just weren’t prepared at all and you could tell. Management needs to clean house and start over or I’m afraid we are gonna lose a staple breakfast spot!
This is the second time I have eaten here. I have family in town and they love it. The food is very good and the staff has been friendly. I know my family will be eating there often and I'm sure I will again when I am back in town.
This place is sooooo good! Customer service great and time to complete the order was fast. The biscuits were so warm and flaky which I am very picky on my biscuits. Definitely recommend and will be returning.
I have tried several things on the menu and have not been disappointed so I can recommend anything as of now..lol
Everything here was amazing! My husband and I enjoyed the Squawking Goat, Sweet Potato Fries, Iced Cinnamon biscuits and Risky Biscuit. All were tasty, fresh and came out quickly. The drinks were great too. Definitely try the signature mimosa. Lots of flavors available for all coffee lovers as well. Will def return!
Decided to try it based on reviews. Biscuits and gravy were ok but biscuits on the dry side and gravy heavy on the pepper side. Not bad just not special. Grits bowl was ok too but more ordinary than what you expect from a breakfast place.
