A nice place for chatting with friends and/or working. Friendly staff, many seating options, and delicious coffee.
I ordered a cappuccino and a cold brew coffee. The cappuccino looked good but was warm and bitter. The cold was okay.
Overall, very good environment: spacious, bright sunlight etc. However, the volume of the music is too loud that sometimes you cannot hear people. This is the only reason I cannot be a regular customer. If you're there to study, the music is very distracting and tiring. This is especially the case if they play techno or rock! The acoustics is already bad in this place. Cafes are places to chill and chat, not dance. Also, you should be mindful of people who are neurodivergent as they might be too sensitive to higher volumes. Give staff a better, mellow playlist (try Bossa Nova) and ask them to play it in a reasonable volume; I assure you it will be a totally different and more pleasing experience for customers.
I start most weekdays with a pit stop at the Lucky Goat cafe. The coffee, muffins and morning greetings always get me off to a great start. This is a hometown, go-to kind of place.
Coffee is good.. I like to support local small businesses. I first tried Lucky Goat while visiting from out of town. I was happy to see they had an online store and I then began to order their whole bean online.The recent huge price hike.... was rather insane. Unfortunately I won't be buying anymore.
The barista with the Halloween nails had no customer service skills. Barely even interacted with me, seemed very rude. My chai latte tastes like flavored water. I will be going back to red eye in the future for their creamy chai and customer service.
One of the best places in Tallahassee for coffee. They have the best roast in town. I always try to take the neat espresso shot to have a great coffee experience. However they have a great bunch of drinks to choose from. Another favorite of mine is the chai latte with a dash of cinnamon on it. This place also stocks up on all the milk alternative if you are avoiding lactose. If I need a coffee, I visit this place and it never disappoints me. As they say - "You always have time for coffee". :)
Excellent coffee!!!! And their workers are very nice and friendly plus they roast their coffee beans on site in addition to brewing and customizing their various coffee drinks!
The Luckyccino is my favorite! I’ll get a blueberry muffin every once and awhile. Last Thursday I got strawberry/cream danish it was sooo good. The staff is always nice, professional and quick at the Capital circle location. Definitely not full of sugar like Starbucks!
