We have have had the most amazing meals here twice now, and can definitely say it is one of a kind. Everything is cooked with perfection. The staff is very attentive well trained, and professional. The deserts... unbelievably decadent. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.Captain TIM
Excellent food, just wonderful
What a lovely new spot Tallahassee has! A friend and I walked in (without a reservation ?) on a Sunday evening to celebrate her birthday. There was a 20-minute wait, which we thought was reasonable … and was well worth it! It was hard to choose what to order from the menu because the flavor combinations were so appetizing. Both of us were more than pleased with our meals (and the leftovers were even better the next day!) I’m looking forward to my next meal here, though I will probably call ahead for a reservation!
perhaps let customers know when you’re doing a “special” menu and not serving from your normal menu when they’re reserving a spot. not many choices, overall taste was either bland or just off. price didn’t match experience and flavor, disappointed to say the least

Had not been to Tallahassee in years, and wanted to try something that I have not had, and tried Lucilla after reading both reviews and the menu. I was not disappointed!!I followed the suggestion of my server, and started with the Pimento Cheese fritters. I did not know what to expect, but what I got were these amazing balls of gooey delight! Each bite was met with an almost audible sound of appreciation.Staying with the advice of one who knows, I had the Grouper St. Charles, and was amazed at each forkful - with a confluence of flavors, textures, and surprises at how well they all blended to create a dish that was perfect.Do not be fooled by the plain exterior - delights await!
An excellent little romantic restaurant with excellent southern cuisine.
