I joined 3 friends yesterday to celebrate the birthday for one of my friends. Our lunch was acceptable but was served on the cool side (I had a seafood crepe). After our lunch, our server asked if we were ordering dessert. We said no but that we had brought some pastries to share. She very kindly offered to bring us each a dessert plate and fork. Very nice…. Until she returned with our checks and told us very apologetically that there would be a $3 fee per person for using the cafe’s plates and forks. We were not told that earlier and were a bit taken back. lol l($12 extra). Not a very good policy. I’ll be celebrating special occasions elsewhere from now on.
Had an amazing experience! Went for graduation dinner and had great food and service.
Food was great. Went to celebrate our sonâs graduation
It was good
Food and service was great. My complaint is with the side. Apparently, if you want to change the side to something that is already on the menu with another entree, there is an upcharge. Why? It's on the menu, still a vegetable, already prepared... It's just annoying. Yes, its only $2 but all you're doing is grabbing green beans (not haricot vert) from another pot and putting it on the plate instead of your seasonal vegetables which I couldn't eat half of because of health reasons.
It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday with lifelong friends!!
It was Bastille Day, which I hadn't thought of when making the reservation. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the occasion, and there was live music. But the music was loud for the size of the restaurant and there was really no where to move that would moderate the sound. Still, it was quite festive, and the food and service were impeccable. We probably won't go there on Bastille Day again, but it is still one of our favorite restaurants!
Recently had ANOTHER delicious and lovely Birthday dinner for my son. As usual Owner/Chef, Herve, made it special!! Will return asap.BTW Herve's Chocolat Lava Cake is INSANELY good. Got it 4 my son but ate Half, oops!
6/3/2022 First time here for my babe and I. Lovely atmosphere, we arrive around 8:20pm. We were greeted immediately by the hostess Kathy, who ended up being our waitress.Babe and I were both wanting a sweet white and a sweet red for him. They were out of both. The Première (appetizer) we decided on… well they were out of that too. We ended up ordering the Seafood Vol au Vent. It was okay to me, babe didn’t like it. For dinner I order the Hanger Steak which came with green beans. Babe order the Sea Bass which came on top of Risotto (they were out of the roasted potatoes that came with his original choice but he was able to order a side of potatoes… I also order a Salade Caesar it was gross. The dressing wasn’t good either. Neither one of us finished our dinner. Thankful for the Himalayan Pink Salt which we added to our entire meal. For dessert babe was too excited for the Fondant Chocolate, he was highly disappointed at the melted, running ice cream, the cupcake and the bad strawberry. We spent $175.00 and we were starving. Babe asked a ton of questions about the establishment, the chef etc. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and mentioned to us that the chef was heading our way. We spoke, he barely spoke back. That’s fine we won’t be back. Ever!
The food and the service were excellent. I highly recommend the goat cheese salad.
