The lemongrass soup was bland and only had 2 tiny shrimp. That is not a value to me for 5 dollars. The bah mi was ok as in the pork however the baguette was over toasted and entire sandwich fell apart and made a big mess. Not a good value imho. 15 dollars later I'm still very hungry. Also no one was up front to greet customers. All in all lucky to get 2 stars. I had so much more hope for this place. Utterly disappointed especially the soup and that pathetic 2 measly shrimp.
No. Do NOT come here if you're expecting anything close to authentic thai flavors. Incredibly misleading! If you're gonna take huge liberties with the ingredients in common thai dishes THEN CALL THEM SOMETHING ELSE!!Tried to send the totally flavorless but overly sweet Papaya Salad back but was made to pay for it anyway. Prices look average until you see what tiny portions you get. And the food is borderline bad, barely better than an Amy's thai tv dinner. avoid
Ordered red curry and masaman and overall was disappointed. The portions were small and the red curry was kind of dry and didn’t have the typical creamy coconut broth/sauce. Perhaps other dishes are better..
I wanted to give this place more than 3 stars, truly. The food is excellent, but on my first visit they screwed up my order. When I brought it to their attention they were apologetic and quickly fixed it. On my second visit I just wanted a Vietnamese coffee. Any Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had is a very strong espresso brewed French press style over a cup half full of condensed milk. It’s quite the show actually. They brought me a cup of what tasted like weak instant Nestle Cafe for $5. By all means try this restaurant, the food will not disappoint!
I really love Lemongrass for their Pad Thai and Lo Mein which never disappoint. They also have boba tea which isn’t really advertised but is nice to know since places that are “known” for boba tea are kind of far from the area. Lemongrass is centrally located and just off the highway so it’s easy to get to. I’ve never had an issue with service and always enjoyed eating here. My friends and I come here for a girls night dinner before going out but it’s definitely good for a family dinner as well!
I had a lovely time! It is my first time and everything was delish! The eggplant stir fry was amazing. Absolutely coming back! A must try in Tallahassee. Such an expansive menu with options for everyone. Shanzae we our server and she was lovely!
The best Again restaurant in Tallahassee. Can't say enough good things about their food. Service has never been the greatest but the food is totally worth it.
Pho special plus Pad see ew costs ($28.49 plus tip). Food is ordinary, food service is bad! When we arrived, no one entertained us for good 10mins.. Our order arrived after 30mins.. When we asked for our bill, the server took 15mins to hand it to us. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.. It looks upscale in the inside but the service is disappointing. Food taste is okay. Just okay, nothing special and prices is not deserving for it's quality.
Tasty Asian dishes. The pho (add special) was amazing. Tried the Thai fried rice pork which was quite authentic except for the roasted pork used which is not so common way of making the fried rice.
I went in to order some take out for lunch - pho and some summer rolls. The pho was tasty and generous in the amount of beef and noodles and the summer rolls were huge! I would recommend Lemongrass to anyone looking for a good bowl of pho and/or huge summer rolls.
