I just had another fantastic meal here. I brought a friend that hadn't tried La Tiendita yet. She was highly impressed with the chicken enchiladas with Verde sauce. Keep up the great work!
It's a cute little place, fun decor etc. We got lunch, my Brazilian lunch plate was great. (I tried my wife's dish and didn't care for it, but she liked it.) Lunch prices and servings were reasonable. My only complaint was it was so slow, they need more wait staff. The girls working were staying very busy; it wasn't that they weren't trying, they just couldn't keep up very well.
I had eaten here before, but my visit this time was prompted by the closing of another beloved restaurant which shall go nameless. It was graduation weekend, so the place was super busy, but service was fast and polite. The food was as good as I remembered, and my fellow diners thanked me for suggesting this restaurant. We'll definitely be back.
My friends and I are here all the time because their food is so good. I love the mole chicken enchiladas and the street corn/elote. This is my happy place.

Awesome place my favorite place in Tallahassee to get Mexican cuisine and awesome drinks. Service exceptional and food is just as good. Recommend for people trying new things it’s won’t disappoint.
Amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine! Lots of good Mexican restaurants in Tally, but this is the best! Indoor and outdoor seating, great staff, and an extremely varied menu! Highly recommended!

The place is nothing to write home about and the set up is awkward. It looks like you order at the counter (fast food style) and then sit down at a table, but that is not the case. It is seating with wait service, and they have beer and liquor. The service needs improvement. We ordered spicy Margaritas and they were delish! Had a tripe taco and recommend you try some of their exotic offerings of tongue, cheek etc. Surprisingly good. The enchiladas with red sauce entree was enjoyable. The red sauce is light, and the beans and rice as well. Not the usual heavy, bloated feeling when you eat those sides at other restaurants. Our other entrees were good and we will return to try other menu items. We thought the food was reasonably priced.
