First time trying, and I've lived here my whole life. I was amazed. For 20 bucks this gentleman gave me enough food to feed 4 grown men. It's the best bbq place in tally, hands down.
Been going here for a while. Better than jenkins bbq from Jacksonville and better value for your buck. If you don't know what to get, get the $10 special that is enough to eat off of for two to three days for the average person.

Mr King catered our office——the food was spectacular, absolutely the best BBQ and sides. More than enough to feed everyone. Mr King there is no doubt that you take great pride in what you do.
We had King's BBQ for the first time today, and we most def ate like Kings!! Between the 3-meat plate and the 4 piece fried chicken plate, we are stuffed to the gills! AND its soo good! Best baked beans and mac n cheese, too! Thank you for being open today!!
Best ribs I have ever ate. Smoked to perfection. Not tough , not mushy, a little bark just perfect And the plate is more than I can eat in one sitting

My husband and I have been all over the South searching for the best BBQ over the last twelve years. We've been as far north as Tennessee and as far south as Miami. Kings is still the best. We've used him as a benchmark for the others to meet and none have yet come close. When we found ourselves moving for a time to Central Florida, leaving King's was one of the sad points. Glad to say, as of last year, we've moved back into the Kingdom.
I was one of the first one discovered his spot when he first open his business. Such a humble and dedicated man! When I asked him why don't you hire someone to help him when he's getting busy, he told me he couldn't trust no one to choose the right meat and cook the right way, so he had to stay there all the time to make sure his food were right. Imagine being in FL heat all day (he used to open more hours) to grill our food to perfection and still be able to laugh and give me extra food because of the wait. That must be love more than the money. I miss this place so much when I left Tallahassee.
