This is out first time to Isabella's. Since it was early in the evening, the crowd was thin.The order was taken quickly, but the soda machines were down. The tip felt slightly forced, since we couldn't enter it ourselves.The pizza base was really good, but the toppings were really unevenly spread, with spicy Italian sausage on 3 of 8 slices.The bianca came with no prosciutto!! And they just added it on and brought it back. Again, the cheese spread on this pizza was very uneven, 5 of 8 slices.100 bucks for 3 pizzas and soft drinks and not a very satisfying experience.
I don't want to give this restaurant a one star, but I was very disappointed with the pizza. I order a plain cheese pizza and it was burned. I could taste it, and didn't really enjoy it. I was expecting better from this place because of their good reviews.
3.16.2022Can't even review the pizza because of the horrible customer service. My partner and I ordered a pizza (online pick up order) yesterday at 7:14pm. Our receipt says that our pizza would be ready at 7:35pm. We arrived a few minutes after the pizza was due to be ready (we had to find parking and then walk a minute or two).After arriving and walking up to the counter to pick up our order, the cashier tells me that they aren't doing online orders? And that she meant to "cancel our order".She then grabs a tablet from the counter and cancels our order right in front of my eyes........ Like literally clicks a single button on the tablet. She said "sorry" in the most insincere tone. No follow up question to see if that was okay or anything. Just a cold "oh, I meant to cancel your order" and insincere "sorry".So, to summarize: We ordered a pizza for pickup. We arrive a few minutes after the pizza is due to be picked up (which in theory should have given them extra time to make sure it was ready). The cashier admits that she meant to cancel our order and then does cancel it right in front of me. Cancelling our order took her less than a second's click of the tablet. So, we essentially drove 15 minutes for nothing. Terrible service.
5 star food and service - the appetizer (prosciutto/mozzarella) and wood fired pizzas were decadent. Would recommend to family & friends....
Excellent pizzas perfectly cooked and great service too. This is the best pizza that I have tried in Tallahassee. The lightly crispy bottom and tender chewiness and flavor of the crust cannot be beaten. (I love GSP for very good pizza, but this is in a different class.) Got a to-go order of wings. They forgot the sauce. Wings were more tender and juicy than almost any wings I have ever had, no matter cooking technique. Definitely brined in the best of ways. The skin wasn't "quite" as crispy as fried, but I would trade that slightly less crispy skin for the tender juiciness of these any day. With a dash of Frank's, they were some of the best wings I have ever had.
Took over 40 mins when it said 20 mins. One person making pizza and 2 people standing around. They had 2 tables But said they were behind. Didnt even start my order until 35 minutes after I ordered it. Rude and lazy service. Pizza was made poorly when it finally came out with almost no cheese and all the toppings in the middle. Ordered an Americana and it came with no basil. Terrible experience all around
Pizza was excellent, wood Fired is the best way to cook pizza. There soda machine was no working. Staff to was very friendly. I would go there again when in Florida.
Horrible pizza and even worse costumer service. A simple small cheese pizza had to be remade and then when they finally figured out how to make it, the cheese was slipping off the crust. I got pizza dough with a side of cheese melted on the box. After everything and a tip the manager still managed to be extremely rude and disrespectful. I wonder why we were the only costumers there!
I come from New York and I’m very critical when it comes to pizza. The pizza is one of the best I’ve had in Florida. It compares to New York pizza if not better then New York. The sauce was delicious and the mozzarella is homemade. If your in Tallahassee you have to stop and have a slice. Me, I eat a whole pie. Great place, great pizza and great people.?????
We had a pepperoni pizza and it was very good! The atmosphere was calm compared to a couple of blocks over. Happy with our choice to come here for dinner!
