A+++ Excellent, Amazing, Superb, Delicious, Out-Of-This-World! Tallahassee has a mediocre restaurant scene, and this place is at the top of the upper echelon…like #1. Christian is our guy! So special! He’s been serving us for years and he’s grown up right along side of us (about the same age). Steven was the bartender and his margaritas with the black salt were primo! We didn’t make a reservation because it was an impromptu date but the hour wait was more than worth it..omg! There’s not a place in Tallahassee (besides il Luso) that you can lounge around and be treated like royalty while you wait for your dinner. This place is just top of the line excellent. There’s date night and then there’s celebration date nights, this is the place for those extra special dinners. We love it so much probably will be going just to hang with the staff and drink! We were first introduced to IL Lusso at a rehearsal dinner. It is both a place to dress up to and one that is casual. The drink and food were great as was the service. Good for special occasions and just a nice dining evening out with the wife.
Came to IL Lusso for my 10 year anniversary. Enjoyed the ambiance. The food was delicious and our server Tyler was very knowledgeable of all the options.I would say this place has a high end vibe (causal, business causal) . Meaning if you and your colleagues wanting to have a business casual dinner, this is your place. If you're looking for a bougie night to have date night, girls night and or a birthday dinner and don't mind paying(average price $20 up) this could be the spot. The presentation is awesome but the taste of the food matches. Definitely worth the experience ?
Sat at the bar and the bartender was real cool. Shared a different drink idea with me and recommended a good combination when the one I wanted was sold out.
My wife and I had dinner here on our 10th anniversary. Meatball appetizer was delicious. Dry aged rib eye cooked perfectly. Service was on point. Special thanks to the bartender for the complimentary champagne toast! It's nice to have a place like this in Tallahassee.
They were not serving our table correctly, it took forever to get drinks and we had to repeatedly get our server's attention. the starters were good and so was the dinner entries when they arrived recommend the pastas , but the sides were cold. its my guess they were not prepared for the volume on a Wed.
The service is the best part, from the manager to the servers, each is equipped with a broad understanding of the menu! The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating while the food is DELICIOUS. Don’t forget to try the Brussels sprouts! I highly recommend IL LUSSO to anyone looking for an experience not just a meal.
This is a very classy restaurant that you can go to business casual. They have an extensive wine selection and a very and Liquors at the bar. The food is amazing. It is exactly what you ask for it is perfectly cooked it is perfectly seasoned. Bravo!! I have been several times to this restaurant and every time this is the experience that I have. I highly recommend it to everyone. Note: it is a little expensive. But you do get what you pay for.
I selected this restaurant looking for a great experience. My visit was everything but that. The extended wait time for our meal was the least of my disappointments. Our sides were served after we’d eaten the majority of our main course. We asked for a second order of bread which was forgotten. Once large parties were seated next to us, our servers attention to our needs was soon forgotten. While our meal was discounted, I concluded our disappointment wasn’t satisfied with paying less. We simply wanted a first class meal at a first class restaurant.
Best tasting steak and shrimp I've ever eaten. Definitely worth it! Very friendly customer service. Went there to surprise my sister for her 30th birthday so I'll definitely go there again next time I'm in Tallahassee.
