Food was seasoned good but cold . The waitress bought our food out separately a dish at a time before we received our eating utensils. We had to ask for utensils. My coffee was never refilled andwe never received water even though we asked. I went to the restroom and saw our waitress standing in the kitchen counting her tips. I still hadn't received my ham. When I received it it was cold. We understand there's a shortage in help but our waitress only had 2 tables ( 4 people) in her section.
I ordered my food on the IHOP app at 10:55, the emailed confirmation said it would be ready at 11:10, and I did not walk out with my food until over half an hour later, at 11:41. The entire point of having online ordering is for the convenience of picking it up and leaving. I understand if it's busier than usual. However, the discrepancy in the app's stated pick-up time versus when I actually got to take my food is just shocking. I won't be returning.
Only ONE flavor of syrup? (Maple) Definitely not the IHOP of my childhood! There were twelve different syrups when I was a kid. There was only one waitress and she also cooked! The food was good albeit overpriced. Oh well, it was for my friend's birthday.
Don’t ever order online/take out here. This is the second time they’ve “lost” my ticket and I had to wait over 45 minutes for my food. The first time it happened, I ordered through Uber Eats. I was a bit more understanding because the order was through a third party app and the manager was apologetic. This time, I ordered straight from the iHop website and they still somehow “couldn’t find” my ticket or food that I had already paid for. How does something like this keep happening? Whoever is in charge of the online orders here need to do better.
I am not quite sure what was going on this morning. I went to breakfast with a friend today. Walked in took a few minutes to be seated. Had a great waitress that checked on us often. We received our drinks right away. Placed out order, waited for over and hour. We ordered BLT's how hard is that? We ended up walking out and going to Zacadoos and were served in five minutes. I wouldn't recommend going to this one.
Not a bad I Hop. The bathroom was a bit dirty. The restaurant was not bad. They were a bit under staffed, but thats the going trend right now. Our hostess was nice. They were doing their best. I ordered my eggs over medium. They were over light, but thats not a big deal for me. If you are in an RV, I don't recommend this place as the parking is tight for regular vehicles. It does have a pull through though. I parked in the employee parking area behind the place and asked if it was OK when we went in. They assured us it was ok.
I waited a day just to take time to consider what I experienced. It was a Saturday so I tried to take into account a busy weekend and the challenge finding employees, especially in Tallahassee. The restaurant was dirty; liquid, paper on the floor and tables dirty and sticky. At one point some sad looking young woman brought an open trash can and sat in in the middle of the floor near tables and half heartedly starting to clear tables but just stopped and walked off. Where I sat my shoes were sticking to the floor and when I did leave I looked under the table and there was a visible pool of something I had not noticed when I sat down. I had one waiter who had dirty clothes and halfway through just wasn't found and a gentleman who appeared to be a manager came to finish helping. Kept having to ask for items; extra butter, hot sauce, syrup. The omelet was good actually, the pancakes were cold. I asked for coffee with cream; "I'm sorry we don't have cream, I can bring you 2% milk". I ate most of my meal but just felt sick when I left. Does Tallahassee have a health inspector? Honestly I find this kind of thing at a lot of restaurants around this city, but this was pretty unbelievable. I could not say something, even though as I mentioned I waited a day just to comprehend what I experienced. The one star is for the omelet, I suppose.
Good food! I have not been to this place after my previous experience from a few years ago. I want to have pancakes and eggs then thought about IHOP but not disappointed this time. I ordered chicken fajitas omelette with pancakes and chicken burrito bowl with hash browns. The service was quick and good. Chicken inside the omelette was little undercooked. I will try again!
Had sirloin tips & eggs. The food was so delicious and was plated in the togo box so prettily. My fiance ate most of it the only complaint I have is we did not get any butter but other than that our service was great. The servers name was J and he was very polite
If I could give zero stars I would. We were the second table in the restaurant. 10 min. Later our server came and informed us they didn't have orange juice, so we ordered water and placed our order. We watched as she took the orders of two other tables and brought their food out before us. After 15 minutes of waiting and a third table after us getting their food we decided to leave. When we told the manager what happened he simply said, "we're very busy." We will not make the mistake of returning to this establishment.
