So I called ahead so I wouldn't have to wait too long. But when I got there to pick it up, I had to go to the end of the 6 person ordering line and wait. Then the sandwich wasn't ready because they had to microwave it AGAIN. The 2 sandwiches were messy mush. Yuk. I will not back. The one on Market Square does better.
I ordered an unsweetened tea, chips, and the patty melt which was out of this world. The tea was flavored with spearmint which was very refreshing.Very enjoyable lunch.
To the owner:. For numerous years, I have frequented your business. Today was a big disappointment! Ordered two patty melts @ $10.29 each. Waited over 15 minutes for food while others came after us and got their orders. When we opened them, there were two fully dressed hamburgers w lettuce, tomato, onion and mustard! No marbled bread, on buns. Cashier took ours back and had the cook rearrange them to meet our patty melt expectations. Nice try, but over toasted and tasted burnt. Though you should know. I love Hopkins, and understand the price increase and why, but this was just unacceptable! Regards.
Order lunch today we ordered 2 Patti melts we were give 2 hamburgers with lettuce and tomato ...... Really I spoke to girl at the counter she took the hamburgers back and 20 minutes later we got what we ordered and the rye bread was burnt and so greasy it was terrible ..I have been sick sense I ate it uggggg 38.00 later
Try the Linda Special sandwich! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Just moved here and found this place. I eat here once a week now. Try the Cobb salad too if you're extremely hungry, it's huge!
BLT with "a little bit of mustard" which in my mind means a little bit of mustard only on one piece of bread. And where is the bacon no seriously Where is the bacon? Never in my life have I seen before and hope I never see again this strange potato salad with green beans and green peas and huge chunks of red skin potatoes. None of this works for me.
Actually 3 1/2 stars. I love their mini chicken salad salad. They have many other items that are quite delicious. Plenty of wonderful desserts. If I could make a suggestion it would be more flavoring in the soups. All in all a good place for lunch at a reasonable price. Not a fan of paper straws but see they did not have them the last time I went.
Food was pretty good. Lunch s p email 1/2 sandwich (Linda) and soup (white bean). Sandwixh was good, soup was adequate but bot great.. Fortunately we arrived early. There was a long line shortly after we got there
