Overall food was good, service was slow. This place has a bar and also tables with plenty of tvs with games on to watch. Relaxed atmosphere.Saturday night and it was kind of busy. No wait time. We sat ourselves at a table. We ordered our food and we waited a long time for our dinner. Any time we needed a refill of our beer or even water, we had to remind the wait staff a couple times. The appetizer came out quick. The wait staff knew about half of the answers to the questions we asked about the food.The food! The candied Jalapeño dip was outstanding! It came with warmed pita bread that was soft and crispy. I had the boneless wings 10 for 12.99 with the garnet & gold sauce (Carolina gold bbq and Buffalo sauce). Also ordered was the Hawaiian burger. The burger was small and smaller than the bun.
This place is nice. It has very good food and at a great price. I like the atmosphere and the darts are amazing. We had a great guy at the bar that helped us out with the darts immensely. He had a great attitude and was very cordial. All of the staff was all around good. The people at the door were very helpful when I needed their help.
Ate there last night, atmosphere is good (although it lacks 2 people tables or booths), and our waiter was a nice guy albeit took forever to take our order, my main complaint was the food was bland as ever, my partner got boneless wings and I got a burger, and it just tasted like there was no salt used at all, extremely bland. So considering it was on the more expensive side, I don’t think it’s a good value.
My order was not correct even after remaking it 3x today... I gave up after the 3rd time. Would gladly drive 30 minutes to the other Hobbit for my food to be made correctly the first time.
Took almost 30 minutes to get our orders. The excuse was that they just received an order for 200 wings! Furthermore, the quality of the food was awful. The bread for my sandwich was burnt. And the fries seemed to be old.
Used to be our #1 go to place…Not so much anymore..I understand they are short staffed, but just the fun loving happy atmosphere has disappeared…None of the servers seem happy. The food was still decent but I can see a slight downfall with it. Didn’t seem as fresh. Certain things were missing….I won’t give up on Hobbit cause we used to love it so much..But think we will take a break for a couple months to see if they get back up to par…
The prices here have shot up to crazy levels. More like pub fine dining. Still a nice atmosphere but with those NYC prices I feel the mgmt has lost touch with the local sentiment. Lots of local law enforcement eat here so maybe they don't mind getting low key robbed as they are desensitized toward theft. Pub cheese is good. 2 stars.
Great sports bar. Lots of tv's w/ different games playing. Multiple Dart boards. Food was great. Will definitely come again.
I am never returning to the Hobbit’s on Pensacola ever again. We arrived at the restaurant, which was half full. We sat down in the middle of the restaurant for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged we were there. So we thought OK let’s give them some more time. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and understand restaurants can get overwhelmed. We sat for another 10 minutes and still no one even acknowledged that we were there. We didn’t even get served drinks. Nothing. Not only did they not acknowledge us, waitresses were walking past our table multiple times and completely ignored and avoided us. As we sat there, we watched multiple servers serving the same table at the same time. We were going to move spots to the bar, but there wasn’t a bartender around. So we left, and took our business elsewhere. Management needs to strive to establish effective systems and place emphasis on quality of service. We are extremely disappointed and feel very disrespected, especially because Hobbit’s has been a long standing tradition for us. We kindly ask that management takes this review seriously so other customers do not have the same experience.
The food was ok. My kiddo had to wait a long time for chicken fingers & fries ? we waited over an hour for our food. And then was missing some of our food. Our waiter was really sweet.
