Great service, plenty of seating options. Bar food, quick bites, TV’s to watch the game.
First time eating at this restaurant. I will not be back. Ordered a froyo burger and the hamburger was very dry with no flavor. Did not like the bun at all. The food was not hot and just plain unappetizing. I would skip this one. It was not worth stopping at or paying for.
Delicious! I had a club style sandwich with curly fries. Husband had a burger and curly fries. Everything done to perfection. Love this place.The only thing that could use improvement is the parking situation for disabled people is seriously lacking. Instead of having curbside service parking spaces directly outside the entrance, these (or part of these) should be dedicated to handicap parking. I hope this is considered.
What has happened to the once great Hobbit?! Take-out is an absolute nightmare and it's been consistently an issue for months now! Orders aren't just a little behind, we've waited an hour in the parking lot on multiple occasions and have to keep calling asking if it's done yet. These are not huge catered meals, it's orders for 3 people!!! Options are forgotten or ignored and entire sides are missing. This is unacceptable for a place that has called Tallahassee home for decades.The food... Where do I even begin? The wings, what Hobbit is known for, have been closer to boiled chicken than fried, room temperature and just weird. Maybe they are frozen wings like the pizza places? Ugh.
Hobbit had the best food ever. Will be returning as the survive was amazing. Hobbit is dependable for flavor.
Not served food until after we sat down at table for 1 hour . terrible service. We had to call waiter over after an hour to order. No drink service with out specific request. Foot took another 40min. Full order was not received. Gratuity was auto added at 20% for two families with two kids. We will never go back to this place. It’s used to be nice family place to eat. Not anymore! Pass on this place for sure.
Ordered takeout. Pretzel bites and extra crispy wings. Two hours later i get my order. The wings are so mushy they appear to be baked. The chicken skin is rubbery and elastic. No beer cheese for the pretzel bites, which do appear to be extra crispy. So crispy they are rock hard. Then when I called they say it's too late to fix the order because they're closing. Thanks for ruining dinner!
Don’t ever order online!!! I placed an order over an hour ahead of time, arrived for pick up and waited another 30 minutes past the pick up time. You are better off placing the order in person. This is the second time this happened. The food is good but the service needs help!
Take out is soooo bad at this location. We love their medium fiesta ranch wings. And i often recommend their wings when people are looking for the best wings in town. But attached with that statement , i should tell people to dine in only. We never have an issue dining in. The wings are all flats, rich in sauce and fried extra crispy like we always order. But they always find a way to butcher take out orders. The wings are never extra crispy, EVER! They are barely fried, mushy at best. The wings are lacking sauce,but i guess that’s a way for them to charge for extra sauce. I don’t technically need “extra”, but I’d like the wings to look saucy rather than the picture below. No ranch seasoning as ordered so i had to ask. They didn’t make them all flats. I constantly have to recheck my orders when they come out. Should’ve left the food and asked for a refund. But we were hungry and trying to get home before playoffs began. Boyfriend couldn’t eat his boneless wings. From the looks of it, they made his boneless wings extra burnt. The garlic Parmesan was non existent. Management really needs to work on this. But i doubt they’ll do anything as I’ve emailed them and they will answer your initial complaint and then ghost you.
Our food was good. Didn't get a pic this time. Salad was great but definitely could have used more meat. Wings were great!!. Only issue was the wait other than that no issue.
