Good people, vibes, and sandwiches. Friendly atmosphere from the first step in to the last one out, with plenty of options of solid food to warrant plenty of returns.
Always excellent - ya gotta get the 12 inch cheese steak with peppers , onions, and most importantly- the beer cheese !!! The owner and staff are always friendly with smiles which is hard to come by these days at certain establishments. If you haven't tried this Tallahassee gem , make plans to visit next time your in the mood for some authentic Philly sandwiches. 5 stars for sure
Very good philly's right here in Talllahassee. I added lettuce and tomatoes at an additional cost. The fries are tasty as well. Service is great and fast. The restaurant was a little warm for my liking but hopefully they can get it right soon. I will be back for my next Philly craving.
I tried flyby for the first time. I admit I may be a little bias because I have been eating A-town phillies. The size and amount of food they give is worth the price however they went onion and pepper crazy. I ordered extra cheese but it didn't seem like it. Ill admit the bread was soft and fries were okay but the steak didn't have any flavor to me. Hopefully I have a better experience next go round.
1st and LAST TIME I will waste my time with this place.After waiting 45 minutes for a to go order... I recommend ordering your food a day or two ahead to avoid any inconvenience or potential waste of time.I understand business have a rush and get busy around Lunch time... but it would be smart to have enough workers if a business wants to stay in business.
Tonight we just wanted some comfort food. We had the dogs and needed outside seating. We stopped at Fly By Philly's and we're greeted with a smiley staff member. We ordered our food and was accommodated with my request for an extra serving of steak for the dogs to share. Within minutes the owner, Blake (who is actually from Philly), came out to let us know he was preparing the dogs meat separately without onions because he knew they were bad for dogs. THEN he brought out their serving and fed it to them by hand! Y'all. THIS GUY. Needless to say Fly By Philly's has over the top service, is pet friendly and who wouldn't support this cool. Keep an eye out for this place because Blake has some fun out of the box ideas coming up.
You will either like it very much or not like it at all. For me, I can’t say it’s the authentic Philly cheesesteak after trying at many places. The onions also tasted totally different and takes away your appetite. Apart from that the service is great and the store cleanliness and ambiance are good.On a side note: Also noticed that the TV show they are playing (at the time I visited) are not at all kids friendly.
I ordered the Philly with provi and no onions, fries and a lemonade. I didn’t know no onions also meant no peppers. The bread was soggy. The French fries tasted like soap? Not good. The lemonade tasted chemical. Service was good. Overall it’s okay but will not return.
Very good and quality ingredients. Pretty fast for what you get and i got super fresh fries (hard to get most places lol). My only complaint and what kept it 4 not 5 stars was how little of cheese I had. It Deff should get as much cheese as it does steak imo and it had so little provolone, it made me feel like I was eating a steak only Phillie. Needed a sauce or more cheese imo. But I got the provolone not the wiz. ??♂️ (But again, delicious I’ll get extra cheese next time is all)
I just didn't enjoy my food. Bread was soggy, meat wasn't flavorful, and fries weren't hot. I would have enjoyed the fries if cooked fresh or kept warm. I hate can sodas and I didn't get the warmest welcome. I just wouldn't flyby there again. The place was clean but just not my vibe.
