Went to FWF with my partner and friends recently. The wings were really good and everything came out in big portions (although a bit pricey but every wing place is nowadays). My gf ordered the stuffed wings with jerk seasoning and they were by far the most unique and delicious wings I’ve ever had. I would have never otherwise ordered them but now I will whenever I go back.We had a bit of a wait time but nothing too crazy. Our server made up for it and was really nice. I recommend!!
Food was delicious and served piping hot. My server was super friendly and attentive, and the manager made me feel welcome like a regular. Definitely my new spot in the South wood area.
Visited FWF several times, the wings are well-fried and the accompanying house ranch and blue cheese were great as well. Food was decent but the service was not on par. I went with a group of friends for pint night and we were initially told that the second round of drinks do not come with the free cups. As compared to the opposite table of 2 people, they ordered two pints each and were given four cups. It was not the cups that we are after but the fair treatment we deserve as fellow customers. The cups were eventually given to us after we asked for them. To our surprise, the waitress gave us another glass which was given on the previous pint night event.My friends and I came for that pint night and were told by the manager that the pint glasses were out of stock and refused to give us any glasses.The last straw for me to leave this review was the different prices that they charged for the same type of beer. The apple pie ciders we ordered in the first round were $5 each and they charged the subsequent ones at $6 each. What a scam. [See receipt for proof]
Today my sister and I were there. My sister tried to order a to go order in Person and they made her go into her phone because they were busy. She had problems and finally we decided to dine in. On the top of long wait because they were only two servers, their payment machine broke. They wrote down my credit card number without my consent to charge it later for both orders and refused to accept check as payment. Worse experience ever. I will never go into that place. Ever. I will report it to my credit card. They were supposed to call me to take payment not to steal my information. Awful unprofessional place.
Ordered on line. Chicken was great as always. Ladies working were awesome. But I asked for no cumcumber in my salad and got them so that was ruined. Won't stop me from going back tho
Terrible taste to the wings. Doesn’t taste seasoned at all. Customer service was just as great as the taste so ordered my food at 5:55 and get there at 6:45-6:50. Understood the fact that it was a busy day but as someone who worked in the food industry me waiting till about 8:15 to actually get my food was just a terrible experience. The fries were the only decent thing about this restaurant. Me and the rest of my family couldn’t even finish the wings we ordered feeling as though I just threw away money.
Saw all the bad reviews for the grilled wings and order the breaded wings which was a mistake, they were all soggy by the time I ate them. Got the hottest sauce on the menu the "double dare" and it wasn't spicy at all, it's about as hot as Tabasco sauce. They also forgot my side of ranch.The wings are huge however, they have that going for them over BWW. The fries are pretty good if you like the beer battered style.Overall this is an average spot. The menu is overpriced. 6 wings are $11, 10 wings are $15, 15 wings are $20, 20 wings are $27.
The food is very good. Would have given them 5 stars but they want to overcharge you on Bill. Been there 2 times with in a week and it happened both times. Their explanation... they had a rate increase since we order... what's on the menu doesn't mean anything. Ok???
This my go-to lunch spot when I'm in town working. The same two servers are always working. Service is always good, the boneless wings are huge! Even the 6 piece combo is almost too much to eat.
1st time and will be the last. Ordered To Go on lunch break and 45 later I was walking out with my very expensive lunch combo that was apparently lost even though my order was made in the store and my account charged for payment. Watch several tables came in after me and sat got their food socialized and walked out before I ever did. Seem like right hand don't know what left hand is doing. It wouldn't be so bad if food was good but I had garlic parm. wings with no flavor, ranch was even bland, and loaded tots. I actually never knew a tater tot could be bad! Seen several comments of "best wings In Town", I suggest these ppl try some more places because these are definitely not the "best" and Definitely don't go there if you want something fast and good to eat on your lunch!
