As a college student in the mid-90's in Gainesville, Florida, I lived on 5-Star Pizza. (Back then, Large cheese, $4.99, free delivery...lol, the good ole days.)I recently moved to Tallahassee and was pleasantly surprised to see a 5-Star here. I ordered pizza and pepperoni rolls, and both were perfect, delivered faster than promised, and just overall a great delivery experience. I'd give them 6 stars if it would let me.
Absolutely amazing service and pizza! I had an event and needed a variety of ten pizza pies. William helped me out promptly and so courteously the day before when I called ahead to let them know what I needed. The following day I got there all of the pies were ready on time and piping hot; the kind gentlemen even helped me carry out the pizza boxes to my car! The taste of the pizzas we got were DELICIOUS (we ordered: Veggie, Hawaiian, Sausage, Pepperoni, and Cheese), the dough was soft and chewy (in a good way, not the tough kind of chewy) and the toppings were delicious! Will definitely be ordering from them again!
I'm trying to get these guys to 5 stars so they live up to their name. Listen guys.. This is false advertisement..4.4 stars..4.4 star pizza.. possibly 4.5 star pizza, idk which sounds better.. I'm giving you 5 stars because the driver I saw has freaking plush dice hanging from his mirror and I vibe with that.. also when I called to voice this problem with the name, the guy I talked to seemed genuinely interested in the issue and said he would let his manager know, and that they would see about changing the name to 4.5 star pizza, so that was a plus for me too. I'm actually gonna come and eat some of this delicious sounding pizza soon, just fyi, but my review is strictly on the dude that drives the scion with the dice, and the guy that answered the phone and was just a chill dude all around.????
Always quick, correct, and delicious. I have literally never had a problem with my many (more than is probably responsible) orders, and it always arrives in a timely manner. The delivery and phone staff are polite as well, though I admit I typically order via the web page.
Workers had very low energy in the customer service area . The food came out in good timing.the garlic knots are delicious the pizza crust was dry but the topping were good . Overall it was an okay experience.and they close at 3 a.m so that was a plus .
My go to spot for late night pizza! The reason for not getting a 5 star review is because the vegan cheese sucks. However, I applaud them for offering that option. If they had a better supplier for Vegan cheese (especially for the upchage price of that cheese) like Miyoko's I would be able to order more pizzas from them.
There's never a disappointing experience with this establishment. Whether it's a last minute dinner adjustment for the family or a midnight craving for pizza, 5 Star is extremely clutch!The guys and gals working the registers are always friendly and the pizza itself is awesome. A combo of good food and good people will never get a complaint from me. 5 star is definitely worth a visit.
Their delivery person ignored my provided home description and instructions, she delivered my food to the wrong address when I called the store to ask why my food was taking so long I was told she delivered it already. The manager flat out refused to give me my $40 back and hung up on me. They never verified who they delivered my food to and insisted I was lying and wouldn't get my money back. Delivery driver was dumb, who drops off food that's been paid for and doesn't verify it is the correct person. Store manager was a jerk. Train your staff.
Super fast delivery, great prices, and always awesome. They even have a vegan option! This location offers Miyokos vegan cheese, which is way better than the usual Daiya option you see at most other places. I cannot recommend Five Star enough!
had a very unpleasant conversation with one of the “managers”. i accidentally ordered a pizza for cash delivery and the other one i paid with card online. i called the place to cancel the cash one. the lady said “we only have one order so everything looks fine” 10 mins later the delivery man comes and asks for cash. i told him i canceled it over the phone with the manager. The delivery man calls and she immediately has and attitude because of how “busy” she was. i kindly ask if there’s anything we can do to keep the pizza, since they closed in 5 mins. she proceeded to get more angry (cuss me out ) because she was in the wrong and saying i “didn’t try and cancel it”. i ended up not eating at all that night. No one ever apologized or gave me any type of discount. This happened a month ago and it still bothers me until this day. so i wanted to post this so someone at 5 star can see
