Every since Firehouse Subs opened it's doors I have eaten only one kind of sub. The Hook and Ladder. I ordered it the first time and I've never changed. I really love it. Try it or any of the rest on the menu. Maybe you'll be hooked and laddered like me.
Went Sunday Waited 30 mins for our meals that when we got them we’re all wrong. They also charged us for a combo when we didn’t get one we didn’t notice till we were already gone and same with sandwiches & we didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes to go back. Skip this stop.
Walked in…no greeting. Stood at counter several minutes while 4 employees chatted it up and horseplayed. I was still never greeted by the person at the register. She just looked down at it while snickering. They must have been high because “on white bread” made them all laugh really hard. Racism. I was worried about my food getting spit in. I won’t be back. Obviously others have made that same choice as what used to be a busy location at lunch time was empty. The sandwich was small and of poor quality…and no “thanks, come again.” There are other places in town that show decency and decorum - like Publix Deli next door. Many business owners will shrug that off but if you don’t get a handle on this rudeness and other negative qualities you’ll lose customers and not make payroll/rent…appears to be occurring. When someone is willing to spend $15 for something that costs maybe $3…you should show them a tad bit of appreciation. I was treated like an inconvenience and ignored. Maybe the employees need refresher training. People vote with their dollars, especially with inflation.
It is sad to see that a once exceptional franchise is now mediocre at best, this particular location seems to have gone down in quality tremendously… walked in to an empty restaurant, stood at the counter until the person on the other side decided to acknowledge that we had even walked in… I asked how are doing?, no response… she sounded irritated that we were there, her first question was: are you ready to order?… in retrospect, we should have just walked out right then…placed our order, she simply started making our sandwiches, did not say anything else, 10 minutes later hands us a bag… no thank you… please come again… nothing… just rude… maybe she’s having a bad day… who knows…sandwiches supposed to be at least warm, were both cold and terribly prepared… won’t be back…. extremely disappointed
This is the worst firehouse sub I have ever had. All involved NO, and tiny bits of meat and cheese??? Wow ?The best thing was the bread and they dont even bake it there ?
One of the employees was fussing with with a male employee and all he said was he forgot to put back on a apron than the lady said shut up clock and go home
Sloppy sandwich, I knew the minute I walked in it wasn't going to go well. The sandwich makers had attitudes and put hot peppers on my sub.
one of the worst places for customer service the staff there is horrible I would not recommend eating them as the food is not prepared to standards and the place is filthy
I came into this restaurant with a cheerful attitude, and the employees quickly squash that, very sad to see,, the food was bland all was warm or cold to touch the bread was barely tested if it all the volume of food was low compared to any other restaurant, Firehouse sub, in tallahassee, if you want a good Firehouse Sub you have to go to Capital circle Southwest across the street from Walmart to get a good sub in this town, I would request that the owner of this store drive over to that store and see what a good restaurant experience is like
Food is really good. But it's starting to get a little pricey for a sandwich.
